Hope everyone had a great weekend. Loving Maurice and his style of hockey.....Leafs are sure looking good so far. And what a night by Sundin! Comes into the game with 497 career goals. Scores 2 against Kipper in regulation, then gets #500 on a shorthanded, overtime winner!!! Wow.
Three for tonight...
Predators -130 vs Islanders
Preds got their first win Saturday against sad-sack Phoenix, and should continue to roll tonight against equally disfunctional NYI. Decent value on this line for a much more talented lineup.
Red Wings -140 vs Kings
Detroit coming off a tough loss against Buffalo will bounce back with a win in LA. Wings have tons of talent, and absolutely own the Kings (10-0-1 in last 11 games). Osgood gets the start tonight, and that's not exactly a bad thing as old man Hasek looked terrible against Buffalo.
Oilers +103 vs Canucks
If my book is going to give me yet another + line for Edmonton, I'm going to take it. This is probably the deepest team up front in the NHL, and although Luongo gets all the press....Roloson is no slouch either. Edmonton has started out strong going 3-1 with a split against Calgary, then two great wins over SJ and Colorado.....but nobody is talking about them (except Ang...LOL). Canucks a one line team, and won't be able to match up lines 2-4. Wrong team favoured here IMO. Edmonton also handled Vancouver last year going 6-2 in 8 games. Go Oil.
Gl all
