Well, if Carolina isn't gonna play then what's a feller supposed to do? They don't score and they don't defend and find themselves in the basement of statistical categories on both ends. Wow. But I find little sense in thinking they will suddenly emerge, there's something wrong there, I don't know what it is and don't really care, but the goalie matchup, Lehtonen vs. Ward, statistically is not even close. The Lman is defending at .971 and has given up just three goals in four games, and I guess that would even include two shootouts + OT. Ward on the other side has given up 11 goals in three games and defending at an unbelievable .887. I don't know if that's his bad play or a lack of help, but at any rate this Hurricane team is giving 4 goals a game on average and Atlanta is only giving up 1. If it loses, it loses but I'm doin this one.
