terrible day last night, looking to have a comeback tonight with these plays...
2* New Jersey (1st 60 min) -½
New Jersey (1-1-0) will be trying to beat Toronto at home for the first time in nearly three years. The Devils' last home win against the Maple Leafs was on Jan. 3, 2003, when they came away with a 2-0 victory. New Jersey is 0-2-2 at home Toronto since then.
The Devils lost all four meetings against the Maple Leafs last season, and have lost five straight to them overall. New Jersey's last win in the series was a 1-0 victory Jan. 10, 2004, in Toronto.
The Devils are playing for the first time since a 3-1 loss Saturday to the Dallas Stars. They beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-0 on Friday in their season opener. New Jersey is playinh there first game at home, and i look for them to get off to a good start at there home opener...
2* Nashville Predators -130
Nashville looking for its first win of the season....
2* Ottawa (1st 60 min) -½ +103
Ottawa still looking for its first home win...looking for a jump start from goalie Ray Emery...Calgary struggles to put the puck in back of the net...Dany Heatley, Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson will likely be together on the top line for the first time this season.
