so I won the "ticket" lottery today for the A's world series tickets and I bought 2 tickets to game 2, pretty good seats:

section 128, row 25 seats 11 and 12

never been to a WS game, however, it appears unlikely that my A's will actually make it there anyway.

here is why I am a moron....the game is on 10/22. my wife will be running the chicago marathon on 10/22, and I will be in CHICAGO!

I totally spaced, I was so excited about the game that I totally forgot.

do you think I will have no problem unloading the tickets locally? I doubt I will for face value, but I thought I would throw them out there for anyone in the UC who lives in (or will be visiting) the bay area and wants them, face value of course. $209 each, incluiding $9 handling fee I paid for each ticket (when did baseball get so expensive?)

anywho, let me know if anyone is interested. I work downtown SF and just to prove I am not scaming, I will print out the tickets from my computer right in front of you so you can see I am authentic.

Try to sell them on the real cheap to recoup some of that cash. If the A's win a game or 2 you should have no problem getting an excited fan to jump on it.
