Ended my hot streak going 1-2 last night...only winning with Montreal. Carolina shit the bed again, and the Ducks outshot NYI 50-24, and still managed to lose. Mike Dunham? Please.

Three more for tonight...

Penguins +192 vs NYR 1/2 unit
Way too much value to pass up, so I'll throw a half unit on Crosby paying almost 2/1. Pitt is an improved team this year, and Fleury has played well. Crosby and that awesome Pitt powerplay has yet to break out, so I see them getting a couple tonight.

Bruins +100 vs STL 1 unit
Blues a favourite? No way. This is a bad team to begin with, but add in the fact 3 of their top 4 defencemen are injured (Jackman/Backman/Mckee), and I will take a Boston team with loads of talent that haven't been playing up to expectations as of yet. Maybe tonight?

Predators -131 vs CHI 2 units
My Stanley Cup pick still without a win? Well...they've only played 2 games, and I think they get their first tonight. They've given up a ton of goals so far, but Vokoun is too good for that to continue. Preds have insane depth up front and on D that the Hawks just can't match. Chicago is a one line team....big mismatch after that between these two. Nashville lost a high-scoring game last week to the Hawks....don't see it happening again....cream will rise in this one. POD.

I also liked Ottawa tonight because they really need a win, and the big line (Spezza/Alfie/Heatley) is going to be re-united.....that was until I saw the opening line. I was guessing something like -120....but -165?? No way am I laying that kinda juice against Kiprusoff. More value on the Flames, who are badly in need of a win themselves. I'll lay off.

GL....let's get 'em tonight :yeah:

I like your second two picks but Im going to disagree with you on Pittsburgh, Jagr against his former team should score some points. Last year NYR was 5-0-1 vs PIT and was 3-1 at home last year. With Lundquvist in net and the penguins last game vs DET I would go with the rangers.

Yeah...I agree....Rangers SHOULD win...that's why they are favoured -200. The 5-0-1 record doesn't bother me too much because Pitt was the second worst team in the league last year, and most opponents records would be similar. I think they're a better team this year....also, Jagr says he is playing at about 75%, and is having trouble shooting...and Fleury is playing just as well as Lundqvist to start the year. Just see some value on the dog, so I'm laying a small 1/2 unit on Crosby.

Thanks adam...and :welcome:

GL JML!

I think I'm going to take a shot on Ottawa. The Flames can't score. Ottawa only needs to get 2 past Kipper tonight...

The NHL is getting loopy.

Canes, 4 straight losses to start the season. Ottawa, 3 straight home losses. Nashville, 3 straight losses to start the season. Atlanta, Columbus, Minnesota unbeaten. After a good start, I don't know where to put my money anymore...

I actually called for Columbus and Minny to have good playoff years, so that doesn't surprise me, and I called Carolina to have a poor year....but the Ottawa and Nashville is a big surprise.

Still early....
