WB...does there seem to be more interest in the Carolinas now that they have a cup champ?

Good question JML. The interest was higher evidenced by their season ticket sales which went up slightly as compared to last year and they added several new players and let several players go like Recchi for instance. They had a heroes welcome that had around 30,000 at it and there are banner all over town that say "Stanley Cups Champs". The overall excitement is strong for the Canes as most fans that attend believe it or not, are not from Carolina...LMAO!! We have lot of transplanted northeasterners, snowbirds some call 'em, and many from Connecticut, New Yawk and Pennsylvania where the hockey following is probably stronger.

I've yet to attend a game as I've been so tied up with entrepreneurships and supervising, but I will be attending their contests beginning in November at the RBC Center.

GL to your Leafs! I like them this year to be a contender for the Cup.
