What if, on the morning of Nov 18, Ohio St and Michigan are the only undefeateds left.
Now, let's say it's a close, hard fought game. The loser of that game would have only one loss. And arguably, it would be the "highest quality" loss out there. What would the BCS rankings look like? I would argue that the BCS Title game should just be a rematch of the OSU-Mich game.
I mean, why not? Let's just say Michigan loses a close game in Columbus. Why should Michigan then be ranked behind any of the other one-loss teams? Who would you put in front of them?
In the above scenario, Michigan's only loss would be a close loss on the road against the #1 ranked team. What other team could say that?
Texas? I don't think so, they got CRUSHED AT HOME by the Buckeyes.
Anyway, I know it's a long way off, but it's interesting to contemplate....
