while i am tempted to go against my UCF boys on friday...i decided to stay away from that and rely on thursday and saturday ball.

thursday picks:
VT -2.5 (-110) 1 UNIT
-is this line for real...VT is a really good team, on da road or not. BC is having a walk-on kicker start the game. I don't see this coming to a field goal to tie/win for BC...i'm thinking VT rolls over the eagles by 10+.

VT/BC OVER 42 (-110) 1 UNIT
-VT can score and so can BC. their Ds are good but not stellar. 42 seems easily achievable for these two teams.

VT -2.5 (-110)
VT/BC OVER 42 (-110)
1.00 UNIT ~ 2.60 UNITS

i only saw 3 games that i liked on the board for saturday so far...i was going to go straight but i decided to "round robin" them, because i like these games a lot.
saturday picks:

GEORGIA -13.5 (-110)
-at home against vandy...no other reasoning needed.
UAB -6 (-110)
-against rice...the blazers should cover a TD. 2 of UABs 3 losses were against OKLAHOMA & GEORGIA...both on the road.
TEXAS -29 (-110)
-at home against baylor, 29 is a lot but not for this matchup IMO.

possible payout for round robin (3) 2-team parlays and (1) 3-team parlay ALL for 1 UNIT each.

3/3= +13.80 units
2/3= -1.40 units
1/3= -4.00 units
0/3= -4.00 units

VT is not the same team this year as they have been in the past. They got rolled by GT at home two weeks ago and struggled to put Cincinnati away until the 4th quarter. I think this line may be a little deceptive. Don't forget the revenge factor, as VT beat BC on a Thursday night last year in Blacksburg.

i still think BC is not on the same level as VT...and ill take the better team giving up a FG or less anytime.

in my opinion, BC has always been known as a "big boy" team... their boys are big and physical...

other big boy teams? nebraska, maryland and *gasp* georgia tech...

i may bet against the trend here and i expect VT to show their true colors against a larger, more physical team again...

ps... the public is 86% on VT currently and the line has remained unchanged

ptrain- GL!...i will caution you that RICE is 15-2-1 L18 as Home dogs and 18-5-1 overall at home ATS in conference play which is a pretty stiff trend...i actually like them to beat UAB who is only averaging 17 PPG this year. Also, VAN is 11-1 L12 as a road dog and the visitor is 11-3 L14 ATS in the series. I don't trust UGA this year at all after seeing them meltdown vs Tenn, and almost lose to OleMiss and Colorado. LOVE the TEX play, though, as they are 6-2 ATS off the Oklahoma game and have beaten BAY 209-14 L4 years including 3 shut outs. GL!..... ...will most likely be on Rice so one of us will win....

thanks for the info flyers fan...i appreciate it.(btw, i love that your boys beat the rangers last night.)

im still on vandy, if GA can put up those stats against tennesse, then they should have no problem doing it to the commodors. vand just plain ol sucks w/o jay "the knife" cutler.

as for UAB, well i still like them but it was my "not so sure pick" after i made it. and for the record, it is too hard for me to ever consider putting money on rice. i dont know why...well acually i kinda do.

wow just getting home from work...the UCF students decided to get FUBAR after the game to erase that POUNDING from their memories, so the bar was a little messy. i jumped on the over and pitt at work after i heard that a majority of the UCF "greek" crowd had Pitt, which just seemed too odd to not take it. i didnt post it, due to me being at work, so it is not included in my YTDs but at least it gave me some room to play these:

STRAIGHTS:

AUBURN $LINE +110 - 1 UNIT
MICHIGAN -5.5 - 1 UNIT

ACTION REVERSE:

WVU -13.5 1ST HALF
TEXAS -16.5 1ST HALF

1 UNIT for 4 UNITS

GL everyone....lets all hit em up this week:thumbs:
