Taking the Oakland A's tonight. I feel if Oakland is to win any game, this will be it!!! I really tend to pick & choose my spots during the Playoffs to get the most value, without trying to lose anything!!!
Zito is 0-0 this year 7 innings pitched zero earned runs

Robertson is 1-0 w/ 7 innings pitched & 4 earned runs. Tight stats, game should be very tight. With the team that wins, winning by no more then a 2-3 run differential!!!

I like Detroit for the Series, but feel Oakland will get there one & only win here.



With that being said, taking the A's & Barry Zito tonight risking $300 to win $200.


Also taking Detroit for the Series, risking $110 to win $100.

Some quick notes on Robertson!!!


Robertson will be looking to reverse his fortunes against the A's as he tries to bounce back from the rough outing. He is 2-2 with a 5.46 ERA in four starts against Oakland, two of which came this season.

Robertson pitched fairly well in the most recent of those games, lasting seven innings and allowing four runs in an 8-4 victory at Comerica Park on July 23. He wasn't as good in the first matchup with Oakland on July 3, when he threw seven innings and gave up five runs in a 5-3 loss at McAfee.

In two career starts at Oakland, Robertson has an 8.31 ERA.

Well was really wrong with this one. Zito just did not have any command. Nor could the Oakland hitters drive in any runs w/ runners in scoring position. They had just as many chances as the Tigers did!!!
