Before I state anything else, let me start off by saying that I realize the line movement in this game doesn't support my play. I realize that the majority of the public is on Baltimore, yet the line has moved up to 5.5. Also, I know a lot of people on here use that as a big portion of thier capping, and have been successful doing so. But that's just never been a big factor in my capping. I just cap the games, and play 'em. Let the public % and line movement fall where they may..
Tonight I'm looking for the Ravens D to force a couple of key turnovers which will lead to shorter drives and easier scores. I realize both these teams like to run the ball and are both good at stopping the run as well. Just see the Ravens D as the stronger D, and I believe they will force Plummer and the Broncos in some difficult 3rd and long situations throughout the night. The Broncos will most likely also have some success stopping the Ravens running game and forsce a few 3rd and longs for the Ravens, but unlike the Ravens D which already has 17 sacks this season, the Broncos D really has been horrible at getting to the QB. They only have 4 sacks all year, and with McNair having some time in the pocket, I think the Ravens will be able to convert some of those 3rd and longs, unlike the Broncos, who will be pressured all night long by this Ravens D. Speaking of the Broncos pass game, Jake Plummer, whose usually good for atleast a miscue or two during a game, ain't going to like facing this Ravens D, who has had an interception in every game so far. And Plummer already has 4 INTs in 3 game so far. I can just see a key INT in late in this game to change the momemtum of this game completely.
Ok..I've probably already written way too much about this game and probably doesn't make too much sense. Never been good with write ups...I just see 2 teams with good D's and both like to run the ball. I also see both these D's trying to force the opposing QB to beat them and I like McNair vs the Broncos D a helluva lot better than I like Plummer vs the Ravens D.
Look for the Baltimore Defense to make a few BIG plays in this game and for McNair to have a solid game tonight. Also wouldn't be suprised to see Mike Anderson get some carries and do well against his former team.
The points with the Ravens look good tonight, but I'm also taking a piece of the nice payout on the moneyline as I believe the Ravens win this one straight up...
damn....i think this is the most I've ever written about a game...hope it makes sense...
