i've started printing out the outcomes of vegas fucks on weeknight nationally televised games (including the NIU game since it was an oddly scheduled game)...
for the record, this last week, with the exception of tulsa, ALL PUBLIC UNDER DOGS (the public being 50% or less on a team) WON...
the public was:
75% on tulsa
64% on marshall
54% on fsu
60% on tcu
77% on louisville
66% on NIU
(remember that when all of these lines opened, the public moved these lines by an average of 2.5 points to the underdog, so these percentages were bought down significantly since the lines opened last monday.. the public was 99% on NIU until saturday evening)
the only public favorite that won was tulsa..
that brings the vegas fucks to 5-1 against the public this last week and if i remember correctly, the previous weeks' vegas fucks were greater than 50% of the games...
im going to start a betting trend here where im going to take all nationally televised games during weeknights (and sunday if they occur), and bet agains the public on the initial three days of opening lines...
nothing huge, just a buck per game...
i guarantee that i'll be up quite a few dollars by seasons' end...
i'll keep everyone involved as the weeks progress and i'll keep all of these bets separate from my usual picks
(for example, if the public is all over a favorite on a tuesday night game and i agree with them, that will be in my "Pow's Picks" section... my vegas fucks section will be kept constant, no matter how much i have confidence in a play.. i will be betting solely against the public, as well as myself)
