the tulsa D is #2 in pass defense and USM's QB is not a good passer

USM is mainly a 1 trick pony with their freshman RB, kind of like NAVY but not nearly as good at overall running, but the NAVY ol is not a group of massive guys, where USM is much bigger along the OL

Tulsa pulled off the navy win in navy and now they are home off a big rest

Tulsa fans and players will be on overload for this national TV game, USM played on ESPN last week, on the road @ UCF, USM won but didn't cover

Usm struggled with UCF last week and woulda lost their 1st half lead if not for a moron mistake by ucf on a pass - INT at their 10 yl that USM took right in for an E Z 6

the Tulsa QB is a Jr and very experienced , comp % of over 65% and he has hit at least 1 pass of over 34 yards in each game this season

had a 20 TD to 6 INT ratio last year

QB rating of 152.5

and their Rb's are seasoned as well

Sr DILES averages 4.8 and gets the brunt of the work

Jr Tennial has a 6.4 avg but fewer carries

Ryan Bugg is a Sr WR who has a TD in each of the last 2 games and a catch for 34 yards in each of those 2 as well

USM

their QB is a Jr as well but threw 3 TD and 3 INT so far in 06, but the 3 pix were all in week 1, zero since, he aint THIS good, i see 1 or 2 pix tonight

top RB fletcher is a freshman (likely rode pine last year) and was hit hard all game by UCF last week, a freshman let down tonight ? This is only his 5th ncaa game

top receiver is a TE, a sophmore

#2 receiver is a WR and a freshman, with zero TD this year

USM is all about the D and their scat back, the D has only allowed 0 , 17 , and 14 points to their opponents, they gave up 34 to the gators but Tulsa sure as hell aint the gators

I think its a tight game until USM tries to press and pass and they turn it over, I knew about this QB last week and won on the dog UCF. This USM qb has gone 3 games with no INT , about 70 attempts since he threw a pick,

IMO - this USM qb Jeremy Young will screw up tonight


I am now on Tulsa -4.5 after the Padres flop killed that 2 teamer


I think they have a lead in the 4th and the USM qb tries to press and screws up and Tulsa scores again to lock down the cover
