Mayer's match was at 7:15 AM...He lost. 5Dimes has a tendency to leave lines up on Challengers even though they started. You can't bet those matches once it's past the starting time.

Wednesday -Metz
Youzhny +134 over Safin 5 units
Safin is 2-0 lifetime against his Russian counterpart, with their last meeting coming in the finals in 2004 Beijing finals won, by Safin 7-6(4), 7-5. Youzhny has played only one match since going out against Roddick in the semis at the Open and it was a victory over James Blake in Davis Cup. The same James Blake who later beat Safin at Davis Cup and again the following week at Bangkok. I like Youzhny in a slight upset. I was burned for 10 units by Safin last week against Blake as the match went to third set breaker, but would not be surprised at all if he got me again against Youzhny.
***I am working on going back through the forum and compiling my YTD record, as this is the first season I have capped tennis with any regularity, at least from the French Open and beyond. I think I will come out on the losing side overall, but I have had a lot of fun trying to make sense of these matches and it has increased my love for tennis tenfold. I also want to thank all the regulars who have allowed me to occupy their thread with my picks and for all the kind words I have recieved. I probably won't be making regular picks again until the year-end Championships but I wish continued success for everybody here!

I added 10 units to Ancic. Match was postponed till Thursday night. Rain is in the forecast till Sunday for Tokyo. They are trying to squeeze as many matches as they can on center court which has a roof. Ancic is expected to start around 9:15 - 9:30 PM. It's the 2nd match scheduled after Henman - JMDP.

Sometimes I really hate betting on tennis. I have a pretty big bet on Ancic but it is basically dead money till they play the match. Now I have to deposit into my account so I can bet on the Baseball and two college football games tonight. Thanks so much to you Coreyschucky for posting your plays. I have tailed you for a long time. I usually win some money just to give it back in the other sports.

LOL...Yeah freaking sucked about the rain in Tokyo today or yesterday for them. They actually had a match that started at 1 AM. Fortunately it wasn't Ancic cause if it was I would have been scared shitless. Ancic should probably go off around 9:30 or 10:00 PM tonight. Good Luck!!!!

Other then going on ATP the answer is no. Jurgen played a late tough match versus Safin yesterday and I gotta believe he'll be a litte tired playing an earlier match today. Fish has played very well so far here and I think the price is fair. It'll be close.

What the hell is in Federer's head these days??????? Guess he should stay away from rice wine!!!! LOL
"Despite the scary start, it was nothing compared to the eve of his third-round showdown against Wesley Moodie when he awoke in the middle of the night from a bad dream and injured his lower leg.
"I jumped out of bed and stood up screaming in a state of shock," Federer said on his Web site. "I didn't know where I was. I ran back and hit the corner of the bed, which is solid wood and sharp. I have a big bruise on my tibia now. It was a pretty scary for a moment."
He had to be restrained by his girlfriend, Miroslava Vavrinec.
"Luckily, Mirka was there. (She) grabbed me and told me to relax," he said.
Federer blamed the bad dream on a sake drink he had before going to bed on Wednesday. He cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win over defending champion Moodie, and was in good spirits after booking a place in the semifinals."

FedEx's blog has been pretty good this week. I love what the ATP has been doing with the weekly blog. It really gives you the taste of the ATP. Who would have ever thought FedEx was good friends with Koubek and Henman. Last week Erlich & Ram were great. But of course the best this season has been Dmitry Tursunov's blog. He started the craze on the ATP.
