I should just fade Artie Lange, that fat bassard....LOL. But here are my picks for the week, gang...

COLTS -9 -102 vs Jets
Indy is due for a blowout win, and I think the Jets have played a little over their heads so far against average teams. Manning goes off Sunday in a big statement game. Colts by 20.

CHARGERS -2 -111 vs Ravens
Rivers will be fine. I could hand off to LT 35 times, throw a couple floaters to Gates, and get the win for the Bolts. Ravens really should have lost to the lowly Browns last week. Who's better Merriman or Lewis? I'll take Merriman, LT, Gates and the Chargers by 10.

VIKINGS Even +107 vs Bills
This is my play of the week. Minny should be a fg road fav in my books. Vikings have surprised alot this year, and look like a real solid team. With steady and under-rated Brad Johnson they are strategic, they avoid mistakes and they take advantage of field position. Last week they had the Bears beat if not for a fourth quarter fumble and they would have been 3-0 against a tough early schedule. For Buffalo, JP Losman really reminds me of Rob Johnson (this is not a good thing) he has the tools, but finds a way to lose. The Bills had a 300 yd passer, a 150 yard rusher, and two 100 yd receivers last week and STILL LOST to the lowly Jets. That means something bigger is wrong with them Bisons. Minnesota by 7.

JAGUARS -2.5 -112 vs Redskins
Yeah...nice work Brunell, nice little record you got there....but that was against the fucking Texans. Jax could have the best defence in the NFL, and Brunell will struggle this week. The Colts needed a punt-return touchdown to beat Jax last week in a game dominated by Jax in the first half. Washington is still shit, and that big win over Houston gives me a gift of a less than fg line. Thanks Houston, at least your good for something. Jax by 13.

BROWNS -2.5 -108 vs Oakland
I still can't get that Raiders/Chargers game out of my head. Wow was Oakland bad. This week at QB they start some prick named Andrew Walter?? Didn't that guy sell me insurance last year?? Last week Walter completed 10 passes to his own team, and 3 passes to the other team. He also lost a fumble and was sacked 6 times. Browns looked decent last week against Baltimore, Charlie Frye had 298 passing yards in a confidence-building game. He should get his first win of the year against the Raider-ettes. And Walter....why is my deductable so bloody high?? Browns by 10.

BEARS -3 -120 vs Seahawks
Bought it down to a FG as I really think Chicago gets it done at home against a Alexander-less Seahawk team that seems to play better in Washington. Without last years MVP in the game, the crazy-tough Bears defence can concentrate on shutting down Hasselback and the passing game. Bears by 6.

SAINTS +7.5 -107 vs Panthers
See alot of UC'ers all over Carolina in this one, but New Orleans has looked great, and it comes down to simple math...a 3-0 team getting more than a TD against a 1-2 team? I'll take the 7.5 and hope for no letdown. Carolina by 7.

GL everyone....and have a great weekend. :booz: :yeah:

Be careful with that Chargers play, I know the Ravens sucked last week but they will be out to prove something this week. I'll be at the game and the crowd will be loud and crazy.

Don't forget the West Coast teams traveling to the east coast for a 1 o'clock game. It hit pretty often last year.

Rivers is the key to this game, if he can limit his mistakes the Chargers should win, if the Ravens D gets to him early its gonna be a long day for Mr. Rivers. He has not seen a D like this ever, welcome to Baltimore Philip!!!

GL though.

:yeah: :gulp: :gulp: :gulp:

Chargers are coming off a bye week....I don't think "travel" is relevant at all, they've been resting and preparing for 2 weeks for this game!

Baltimore in my mind will win this game, Rivers will struggle against a tough tought Baltimore Defence. It comes down to Quarterbacking experience vs a young inexperienced one. He hasn't seen a defence like this. They will intimidate him plus they are playing at home. Baltimore is totally different team at home.

Whoa there lol Johnny lets not kid ourselves. Merriman is one of the best rising star at defense but when it comes to THE LB position its still Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis has pro-bowls, defensive player of the yrs, and oh 1 super bowl to pad that resume. Until merriman gets close to that he cant tie lewis' shoe not yet... I actually like Ravens, Rivers has to pass and has not faced a defense this good, i doubt LT goes for over 100. GL with the rest, see you in Nhl soon

Love the write up on Colts, could have wrote it better myself, blow out city
