wicked week last week, looking to keep the ball rolling.. update current record later
Jacksonville Jaguars -3 (making this my best play of the week)
The Jacksonville Jaguars are for real this season. They have one of the best secondary in all of football and the Skins have got Brunell at QB, which means a lot of mistakes, rushed passes.
As much as this might turn into a big time public play, it might be one of the only public plays that hits all week. I'm loving the jags in the spot. The lifetime series is currently tied up at 2-2 and the Jaguars have won the last two meetings, both at home by an average of 10.5 points both times. The Jags are coming off a loss to the Colts and will be looking for some redemption. The Jaguars are 9-1-1 in their last 11 games following a game where they were held to 15 points or less. The Skins are coming off there first win off the texans... oh look out, in my eyes they are still playing like shit. Look what indy did to the same team, they smoked them. The Jags allowed only three points to Pittsburgh and 21 points to Indianapolis last week which is definitely good for something against Skins offense that is yet to click. With the pressure and coverage schemes Brunell is going to be facing in this one, it's going to be a long afternoon for him as the Skins are brought back to reality after their first win. The only thing that worries me a bit is the jags are on there 2nd roady in a row, and i guess thats why the line is only at -3.
IMO the oddmakers are not giving the jags enough respect, they are a good team that is firing on all cylinders. I see a defensive battle with the jags winning by 7+
Opinions??? Comments???
