I was just wondering if everyone else was thinking about this....The Bills have been circling the wagons like no tomorrow IMO. This is two strong showings in back to back weeks (Pats & Mia). I know they are not Super Bowl bound, but could pose a problem for my pocket this season. The Bills (sorry Bills fans) are a team I usually bet against. I think I am going to be more alert and careful next time I think Bills = easy $$.

I think I am going to stay away from them until later on in the season, until I can get a better judge of the team.

Also the 49ers opened some eyes yesterday IMO.

I just wanted to know what you guys felt after yesterday. I know several of you had the same plays as me. I was just wondering how everyone else was going to deal with these two teams playing above their former expectations.

I went 3-3 yesterday lost (SF/Rams...Buf/Mia....NE/Jets-stupid decision...lol, everyone told me not to take it....I gotta listen to you guys more....although....the J-E-T-S made it close and made a few wait it out...

GL to those tonight....:yeah:

I'm a die hard Bills fan so I'll try to add something useful here.

Buffalo of course has a good defense, but that's nothing new. When Gregg Williams came aboard as head coach in 2001 he elevated the defense to top 10 status instantly. When he left after the '03 year, Jerry Grey took it over and it was still the same system with the same players, therefore it thrived. Grey was there through last season when it was decemated by injuries and the inability to replace Pat Williams at DT. Jauron is a defensive minded coach so of course it's going to stay top notch. The plus about yesterday is that they wreacked so much havoc with Spikes out. It'll remain a top 10 unit for sure and will keep them in alot of ball games.

As for the offense, McGahee has looked strong thus far, and Losman looks improved, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. NE always plays down or up to their level of competition so take last week;s showing with a grain of salt. Yesterday they looked impressive but the passing game was still non-existent and they failed to capitalize in the red zone, another problem that plagued them last season. Overall, they're not a playoff caliber team, but their defense will keep them in games all year and they'll win their share of close ones. I'm predicting somewhere around 7 wins. The success of their season is going to hinge on whether or not Losman can put together a passing attack. If he starts to put up some numbers and can prove to defenses that he can hurt them with his arm, we could be looking at a darkhorse playoff candidate. That's a big IF, however.

Next week will be a good game for both the Bills and NYJ, as both teams have looked better than advertised thus far. I think we'll figure out alot more about both of them next week.

HUGE Bills fan here also...if you look back to the one year when Chicago was i beleive 13-3 under Dick Jauron, one thing you notice is that they got maximum effort out of guys who you never herd of..aka Jim Miller, Warrick Holdman, Rossevelt Colvin, a young Brian Urlacher and Anthony Thomas...one thing that us evident with this Buffalo Bills team is that it will not shy away from NOBODY...there a tough, gritty team, full of guys who have a chip on there shoudler and want to prove people and doubters out there that they do belong in the NFL...aka Kyle Williams, Ko Simpson, Kieth Ellison, even Donte Whitner is putting his critics on the hot seat for saying he got drafted to early...what has Michael Huff done...NOTHING...McGahee is running hard, the Defense is swarming to the ball...Perry Fewell is doing his job...all we need is JP to get going more consistently and i think we may see a BREAKOUT team next year....i look for the bills to finish around 8-8...

If JP can be more consistent I think they have a shot to surprise alot of ppl. We got lucky yesterday and pulled out a win despite his dismal performance. I do believe he's the answer. I'm really surprised at how the defense has played. That's the part of the bills I'm really excited about. The had an awesome draft and now it's showing. The o-line isn't as bad as advertised either. The bills beat an underachieving dolphins team so let's not circle the wagons yet.

wow....thanks guys....

I should have figured Bills fans would reply...lol.jking..

I think the Bills are underated IMO....they are going to be like the Bears for me last year....a hole in my pocket...

Yesterday I couldnt see them doing anything with the Fins...let alone shutting down the passing attack without TKO.....once I heard he was out....I was ready to lay nice units on them....lucky I didnt and only suffered a small hit.

Even tho the Bills are 1-1 Win/Loss.....they are 2-0 ATS....lol...but they dont give out rings for that....lol..

Im going to ponder about this information for a while....The bills might be just one of those teams you bet on this year....rather then bet against....

Thanks guys...and GL :yeah:
