I just checked weather.com. They are calling for strong thunder storm this afternoon, which will favor the running game. I just thought I pass on the information. GL Bud.

I'm glad you couldn't change the OVER play on Green Bay. I guess the weather.com said afternoon, they probably meant around 5 to 6 p.m. GL with this evening.

Gonna start computing units as well -- because "juice" and "vig" does count towards the bottom line. I have also started to play some plays for more than my usual 1unit...so....
NFL YTD (12-10) +3.80units

Guys: I have been reading this site for two years now, and I really appreciate the hard work a lot of you guys put into capping these games. I have won my fair share tailing you guys :yeah: so thanks for that. However, I have a "newbie" question for anyone willing to give me an answer. How do you compute "units"? It has been bothering the hell out of me, and I would really like to know what they are and how to use them. Thanks!

Ok...a "unit" is your "typical" bet....whatever you lay down as a typical amount. This takes $$$ (money) out of the equation (a little less personal). For some people a "unit" may be $25, while for others it may be $100. Depends on how big your bankroll is I suppose, and how much you feel comfortable wagering. People will wage more or less units depending on how strongly they feel about a particular game. There is also "juice" or "vig" involved on these bets. So, if you win a $100 bet you usually win around $90. Of course some lines are +105 or -115, then you would have to figure out the juice there.
If your "unit" was $100 and you bet 4 games at 1 unit a piece and won all four at -110 you would be 4-0 at +3.6 units.
I won't go into the math now -- cuz different lines have different "vig"....but a "unit" is your typical bet....

good luck to ya....
