Oregon St +8 at Boise St: I think Oregon St is an improved team with a good offense. It should be a shootout kind of game, but I think a midmajor laying over a touch to a decent major team is too much.

Good luck to everyone this week!

YTD: 2-2

I agree and I'm on it with you.

Boise and Fresno are starting to get the Gonzaga syndrome. They are spectacular underdogs when given points. However, at some point they stopped getting the favorable lines, and now they are actually a bad bet a lot of the time.

I'm taking Oregon AND Oregon State this week against those two monster mid-majors.

Oof, another poor start this week with OregonSt getting shellacked. Let's see if we can't change fortunes with these picks.

ND -7.5 vs PennSt: I was actually impressed by Notre Dame last week, maybe I'm insane. They got off to a poor start, maintained composure, and came back to completely control the game on the road in front of a feisty crowd. That's not easy to do. I think GaTech was actually a bit lucky to cover because ND dropped a pass inside the 10 and had a couple of missed field goals. At any rate, I like ND a lot this year and going home against a PSU team missing a lot of pieces from last year... I see a comfortable win.

SoCar/Ga under 39: Both defenses will control things, imo.

Tex -2.5 vs tOSU: I'm hoping Texas' advantage in almost every place except QB will overcome the QB disadvantage.

Tex/tOSU under 50.5: I see both defenses playing well enough to keep it to a 24-21 type score. tOSU's young defense should be able to stop young McCoy, and Texas' top-5 defense should be able to reasonably control tOSU top-5 offense.

TTech -7 at UTEP: I see a mismatch here.

Oregon -3 at FresnoSt: I got burned with OregonSt using this logic, but I think Oregon is a much, much better team and giving only a field goal against a midmajor is too tempting to pass up.
