UTEP is 1-18 in it's last 19 non conference road games. Over 31,000 expected and for the Red and Black that in itself will be a victory.

Let's end the week on a high note...

In what could be one of the top 5 monday night games of the upcoming season, I'm expecting to see this game won on the "O" lines and the fact that Miami has a Hungry...Young.... and Fired Up "O" line, I'll give them the edge. Sure, they'll make stupid mistakes, but newly hired "O" line coach Mario Cristobal has instilled a great attitude, and don't expect to see 9 sacks from FSU like we saw last year. A change in the offense..with more of a quick hitting style will also take pressure off the "O" line. Key players missing from Miami are Ryan Moore and Tyrone Moss, but with the depth that the Canes have, I don't believe that they will even be missed.

Florida State returns only 5 on their starting "D" this year, and only one in the secondary...for this reason I actually look for more of a wide open game...I expect Kyle Wright to exploit the FSU secondary and Miami will put up at least 24 points...

FSU quarterback Drew Weatherford put up awesome numbers last year, but a fired up Canes defence, and a loud croud will make this a less than memorable game for him.
