watching the Yankees EVERY Saturday on FOX? And if it's not the Yankees, then it's the Red Sox. Every damn Saturday.

If so, we should write to someone and let them know.

I think it sucks ass that FOX has exclusive boradcast rights to MLB games on Saturdays until 7pm EST to begin with, and as if it doesn't suck enough weiner that I can't watch anything on MLB Extra Innings on DirecTV, that I PAY FOR, shitty FOX only shows one game, and it always seems to be the Yankees, with the occasional Red Sox game thrown in there.

They very least they could do is show a 1pm game and a 4pm game like they do for football. It's completely idiotic that I can't watch anything between 4 and 7 pm EST when FOX isn't even airing anything baseball related in my area at that time.

I don't have anything against the Yanks or Red Sox, but I'm f'n tired of it. There are other teams in existance other than the Yankees, Red Sox, and whoever they happen to be playing on a given Saturday, and I'd love to let FOX know there are people out here who think so.

I don't know about anyone else here, but the White Sox/Tigers game is far more appealing to me, which I could normally watch on WGN, but no, they're not allowed to air it. God forbid I wouldn't watch the precious Yankees game.

FOX can lick my balls :puke:

Isnt it regionalized? I live in NJ so I always get the Yanks or Mets, but I thought it was more regional coverage... Guess not???

I always thought so, but I get the Yankees or Red Sox every week, and I like in eastern PA, and I'm considered to be in the the Philly region. I actually live about an hour outside Philly.

Anyway, the other week the Phils played an early game (not that I really want to watch them either), and I still got a Red Sox game.

After the Phillies, Baltimore and Washington would both be far closer to me than Boston, and roughly the same distance as NY.

I believe it is regionalized....in a way. As far as I'd get the "east coast game of the week" over anything in the central or western US....but not necessarily the team in the region I am actually considered to be in.

In any case, there's no real reason they can't allow me to watch the other games on FOX Sports Net, which is what 90% of the games on MLB Extra Innings are on anyway, or they could even air them on FSN. Plus they could make some sort of effort to show the 4pm games. That's my major complaint....not that they air the Yanks and Boston every week on regular FOX....just allow me to have a choice.

I was hoping for the White Sox games, but I guess the Tigers just aren't a good enough matchup for Fox.

Totally agree....so sick of these two. I understand that they probably draw the best ratings but the Detroit/Chicago game is the best matchup. Or an NL west game....I never see those teams.

Also...is there any athlete less appealing than Arod?
That prick makes T.O. seem likeable.

the coverage is regional. i live in indiana and i'm getting the sox/tigers game. but yes, i am so sick of the yankees and/or red sox playing every day on fox and/or espn wed night baseball or sunday night or w/e the case.

speaking of which, does anyone know why Harold Reynolds left espn? did he get fired? i loved him on baseball tonight and the LLWS.

Sexual Harrasment is why he was canned. I thought the guy was the best on espn. I miss him already:mad:

It should be regionalized.

in northern Iowa we had the Tigers/Sox game. Which is a good matchup, but being that I can watch the Sox play on WGN... and I can watch the Tigers play the Sox or Twins whenever that matchup occurs, I kind of wanted to watch the Angels/Yankees game. lol

I think in every region you probably get sick of watching the same teams every Saturday. A few Saturdays ago we got Oakland/Detroit here, that was a surprise, usually we'll get the White Sox, Cubs, or Cardinals.

I have Mlb Tv, so I choose any games I want to watch during the week... considering ESPN only shows the Yankees and Red Sox, I don't watch a lot of there games on MLB TV, will swith back and forth between games.

And Harold Reynolds was pretty good. Supposedly he had been warned a few times of his fascination with little college interns not being a good thing.
