Is the line movement infavor of the Yanees a reflection of the public belief that Bobby Abreu will be a help to the Yanks. Just looking at the pitching matchup, I feel Toronto is the right play

Wright is terrible. He has had back-to-back subpar starts. He was touched up by the Blue Jays on July 21, in which he also squared off against Burnett. Wright gave up five earned runs on seven hits in 2 2/3 innings pitched. (MLB.com)
How much difference can Abreu make? Anyone have his numbers versus Burnett? They must have faced each other quite a bit.

Well as bad as I consider Wright to be Burnett is pretty hit or miss as well. These are the games (NYY and BOS) that Burnett said he was excited to pitch in when he joined Toronto but he hasnt't pitchen at either Fenway or Yankee stadium yet this year. I might go for the OVER 10.5 but that's a little high for me. I'll probably just lay off and cheer for the Jays.

I don't really see too much line movement on this game. A few cents towards the Yanks, but nothing to get excited about either way....and yes, i think it was more than likely a public move.
Percentages favored the Yanks early (more plays on the Yanks), but now it has evened out.
58% Yanks
42% Toronto
Public is pounding the over at 89% though.
As a matter of fact, the public seems to be pounding almost all the overs today except Flubs/Arizona, where they're slightly on the under (58% under)....but the Yanks/Jays over is the biggest public percentage play right now.

burnett is a big bust IMO, 44million for 2 wins, what a bargain lol.. but in any case, there are teams that just absolutely own pitchers and its safe to say that the 'jays own wright. Does that mean its the best play in burnett?? Unless burnett goes 8 innnings which he is not in this oven here in the bronx, the jays bullpen is subpar and the yanks can strike at any moment esp agst any teams bullpen. I'd stay away from it, IMO, although i do like the over.
