I have been tryin' to figure that 1 out??? why not take +1???? Especially when there are so many 1 run games. I see others layin' -200 or more on a game, I keep it to under -150 and cya, when I can. Works for me, I got myself a few bucks, just waitin' around for foots...

I'm not great at this stuff... but if you take +1, your assuming the Pirates are going to win. If they lose a 3-2 game, all you do is push your bet, whats the advantage? If you take any runs you should at least take +1.5, that way if it is a 3-2 game, you still win.
If that makes sense. lol I just don't see what your gaining by taking +1 at -101....if you take that you are assuming they are going to win... might as well take the ML at +140 and get paid back.
Or am I way off on that?

I am takin' the +1 assumin' pitt is gonna win, Right:thumbs: I am also cya for a 1 point loss  If I were to take the 1.5, I would have to spend an extra $25.-$50. per hundred, that seems to be a waste of money if my team gets blown out. I would rather play to the +1 (win or push) at less risk, then take the +1.5 for a slim chance on the game ending at 1 point loss.

THIS MAN IS ON FIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you determine your pics, what is your theory?
I get ahead nicely, then drop the bomb on a team I think is a gaurantee, like the marlins because the pirates suck, although playing good ball the last week or so, and bammmm, gone.
Redoposit because I'm a greedy shit with no self control.
Help me here. Hit 2 of 3 early today, have the JAYS and the over 8.5, and a 49.50 to win 71.50 amount on the dodgers tonight.

HomeDawg thought it was the Pitt Steelers +1 against the Dolphins.
He figured Saban's bunch is still not ready to be favored over the defending champs... so +1 looked good.
