OK since i had no luck in tryin to find free software online (windows xp or 2k)

i can i permanatly delete the windows 2k that is on my current laptop?

here s the problem i bought a laptop off of a friend ,,think he stole it from his workplace. i needed one badly and knew it worked so i bought it off of him. the problem for me now is that the laptop still has his jobs windows 200 pro and has that (alt-ctr-del) log in most jobs have when u turn on ur pc at work. I CANNOT PASS THAT SCREEN!! no matter wat kind of cd-rom i place in the laptop. HOW DO I PERM DELETE THE WINDOWS THATS INSTALLED ON THIS LAPTOP ! I WILL THEN ADD WINDOWS 2K WHICH I HAVE A CD FOR. I CANT BE ABLE TO DELETE OR GET PASS THE REGULAR USERNAME/PASSWORD LOG IN HE HAD FROM HIS WORKPLACE,,,,,ANY COMPUTER WIZARDS OUT THERE?
