7-1 in bases since returning last week. Really enjoyed the Jays/Mets game Saturday....made a play on Halladay, but didn't post. Once I heard he had not lost back to back games in like 3 years, I made it a 2 unit play. Wells also went deep twice....sweet.
Only one for tonight...
Indians +107 (Lee) vs Cardinals (Marquis) 2 Unit Play
Two struggling teams in this inter-leaguer, but I'll back the better pitcher as a dog. Lee really looks like he's found his groove going 3-0 with a 3.10 ERA in June and working into the seventh inning in all four starts. He is also 5-0 with a 3.31 lifetime ERA against the NL. Marquis might not give up 13 ER's again this start....but 6 or 7 should do. LOL

Seems like the sensible play. I was considering it as well.

Yeah...thanks Stif...I love it, and I made it a rare 2-unit play.
Seems like this board is all over the Cards though? :dunno:

Nice job
I knew I should have played Cleveland. I liked it, but just chose to pass on it. Same with the Twins. Liked them too, but didn't make the play.
I pretty much decide what plays I like every day and always come up with in the 12-14 range (when there's a full card)....then narrow it down, and I have a certain knack for choosing all the losers and laying off the winners in baseball for some reason :bang:

Basically I didn't trust Cleveland to score, and figured I'd end up losing another 2-1 or 3-2 type game...which is the only reason I didn't take it. I also didn't care for the situation, with St Louis coming back home after losing 6 straight on the road. I figured they'd be able to give a better effort.
I really like the Cards to stop their losing streak tonight actually.
You know what that means, Tribe rolls again, LOL
