Twins playing great baseball. Defense, pitching... there viewed as such a poor offensive team, but there hitting almost .300 at home with a .354 OB%.

Dodgers lost 5 of their last 6 on last road trip. They just swept Pittsburgh, but who isn't sweeping Pittsburgh right now.

Billingsley is another one of those young arms an organization has to stay on the conservative side with.
Carlos Silva is a very passionate guy, a lot of pride. It was a nightmarish start for him... he has turned it around all things considered, I tip my hat to a guy for that.. he could have easily tanked it and been pissed off in the pen, never righting the ship.
Silva will give the Twins 6 innings and turn it over to their very good pen.

Thats my only play today, yea.

All the others are too pricey. I can't get a grip on what the Cardinals will do, especially with Marquis just giving up 500 runs his last start.
Detroit looks like a good play to me, considering what Houstons pen just went through.... but I don't want to lay that with Zach Miner... he's been good, but I just don't believe in him yet. lol

hawk- my only thought with CLE is that they are 0-7 L7 first games of a series and they are having a hard time scoring runs and now they lose a bat out of their lineup because Lee has to hit. I think the Cards are not great offensively and this actually helps them by having the pitchers hit vs. having to add a guy to their lineup to hit and allowing the other team to do the same.......may tail you on MIN......

I like the REDS with Milton over Wood (KC) on Tuesday.....lol....i just stare at these slates of games and pitching matchups and the only ones that jump out are the ones that are going to be -400 like Zambrano.....lol.....for some reason, i can win huge in the college sports, but can't win for shit in the pro sports with the big exception of the NHL.......:dunno:

ON Tuesday I like Oakland with Zito........ Florida with Olsen over Kazmir.... And a 3 totals I think I will get on.

If I was going to play St. Louis, I think tomorrow would be even better. You could get a good price with the phenom Reyes.

Sabathia just came out in the media and admitted he gave up in his prior starts. He's been getting hit around. You can't ignore what Reyes just did to maybe the hottest hitting team in the league, ya know.

You see Bonds today? He looked 68 years old, had to leave in the 2nd inning. I don't think he's playing for a bit. ALou's all ready going on the shelf, Morris and SF pen suck.
