Pinnacle Sports has a cool bet out where you can bet on the over/under for how much loot the movie will make during it's opening 3 day weekend:
Click - June 23-25
Fri 6/23
Opening 3 day weekend box office for Click will be:
09:00 AM
5 Over 42 million +116
6 Under 42 million -132
They've been promoting the heck out of this movie but I think the under 42 million hits.
Any movie buffs care to comment?

Kev, I hope ya mean "how many $$$$$" not "tickets" (hell that could be $400m with the price of movies these days) ... I am goin' in on the o42,000,000 the only competition this weekend is
Waist Deep with tyrese gibson....
Besides, Cars, Nacho Libre, & The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift will all fall with Adam Sandler in the house...

Good rule of thumb I like to go by -- The more a movie is promoted the more it will suck ass. Good movies sell tickets by themselves.
This one has "sucks ass" written all over it.

It dont take much to get 42m in the register though.... Jennifer Aniston got almost 40m on "The break up" ... cars 60m .... x-men last stand got 122m .... MI-III 47m... davinci code 77m (all in 1st weekend gross)
Adam Sandler is 1 hell of an actor... Gotta believe this 1 goes over big at first, then the depending on the reviews, it could tank...

Adam Sandler is one of the most prolific and successful comedy actors in the business. The lifetime gross of his movies in the United States is somewhere over $1.3 billion, and he has taken a lead role in six $100 million movies. That's a box office record that ranks behind only Jim Carrey and Mike Myers among contemporary comedians, and makes him one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood.
Perhaps surprisingly, Sandler has few Summer movies to his name though. The three movies that he's starred in that were released during the season have all been significant money-makers: The Longest Yard grossed $158 million in the US, Mr. Deeds made $126 million, and Big Daddy scored $163 million in 1999 (when $163 million was real money). Sony will be looking for Click to pull in similar numbers.
ADAM SANDLER MOVIES' WORLDWIDE GROSS
1. Big Daddy (1999) $163,479,795
2. The Waterboy (1998) $161,491,646
3. The Longest Yard (2005) $158,115,031
4. Anger Management (2003) $135,560,942
5. Mr. Deeds (2002) $126,293,452
6. 50 First Dates (2004) $120,776,832
7. The Wedding Singer (1998) $80,245,725
8. Spanglish (2004) $42,044,321
9. Little Nicky (2000) $39,442,871
10. Happy Gilmore (1996) $38,623,460

Superman will definitely make more than the Breakup...these kinds of movies bring out people in drones. All the Comic book geeks borrow money from their parents to see these kinds of movies.....
....I also think the Sandler will go over.

On bets like this, bet the opposite of what you think. Pinnacle is not stupid. Jo Pub is probably over.
I would go under.
