Canes -165 ML (5 units)
Over 5 1/2 +100 (5 units)

Cam Ward will have his game face on and the lackluster performance on the road and last game at home will disappear as the Caniacs will aid the players' adrenaline.

Deja vu, homer!

Will you say the same for game 8?
LOL.

Sorry, but I really like the Oilers.
The banging they've layed on the Canes has added up.

GL JML. Didn't know they were playing a game 8? :ohman: LMAO

Canes will do it tonight! I have the ticket in my hand and I'll be there right behind Coach Lovielette (spelling).

Is the Caniacs really a "thing" down there or is that WB7 schtick?

Also, isn't it kinda of offsetting to say Cam Ward will have his "game face on" and then play the OVER? I guess you are liking a 4+ goal effort from the Canes?

this is what the NHL gets for playing a game7 the 4th week in June.....Slushy ice.......really too bad.....hate to see a game decided by a bad bounce or some guy falls down because we are still playing hockey when it's 95 degrees outside and the ice isn't right..............if it belonged in June, it would be part of the summer olympics.......kind of funny because we played game6 in EDM who has the best ice in the league......

anyway- GL!...to your team WB7......... ......

1-1, no over, however a nice job in the net for Cam Ward. Huge cajones for the young and upcoming goal tender. Not bad for a rookie eh?

Congrats to the Oilers for a great season. One of the lowest seeded playoff clubs that made it to the final ain't that bad and a gutsy club to say nonetheless. I can't stand Torres though, he's a punk and hopefully he won't be in an Oiler uni next year. They can do better than him. Pisani and Conger, and others will be back!!

Thanks for the great year everyone!!

Congrats to you and your Canes.
Nice to see Brind Amour and Wesley finally get a cup.

But I have a quick Memo to the Carolina Hurricanes...

There is no crying in baseball,
AND there are no cheerleaders in hockey!

What the fuck is that?? :bang:

Cheerleaders? Have you ever been in the south watching nut sack JML? LMAO!!!!

It's better to see the cheerleaders during breaks than it is to listen to Rick Flair on the big screen!!

Nope....never seen an NHL game in the south. Only games I've seen live in the states were in Buffalo and Detroit....and they both show the game some respect.

Nice parade Carolina had for the champs. LOL
Looked like a couple hundred people at an Insurance Company's Family day picnic.

Bettman's new NHL. :bang:

Kingston, Jamiaca....2015 Stanley Cup Champs?

FYI, JML. Today is the actual Parade. Last evening's event was at the RBC Center where the team plays it's home games. Over 40,000 fans there.

I don't know where the cheerleader idea came from, however, many of the front office are from the ole Hartford Whaler regime. :ohman:

Respect for the NHL you said for the two teams you mentioned, you are correct, however, the game today has changed from the days of yesteryear my friend, and as Metallica would sing "Sad but true".

OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

Quick congrats to both you arguing clowns.....

WB7- feels good when your team wins...i still remember being at the 2002 national championship game with OSU/Miami......Flyers suck...lol....congrats on the 'canes....

JML- nice job on your series plays....... ....you were one of the few on the Oilcan from day one.....

and the ratings were down 21% from last year in the finals...sad, sad, sad....that is what happens when you play your finals the week before 4th of july and your season lasts 9+months......people get tired of it, even big fans like me.....i tried to watch game7 but just couldn't.....would rather be outside running or doing summer things....the sooner the NHL figures that out, the faster their ratings will climb.......i tried to put hockey on at my family get together over Memorial day and they all laughed that they were still playing hockey at the end of may.....one member suggested maybe we freeze the pool and play some hockey that afternoon......lmao.....

anyway, only bummer is they approved the same schedule for next year meaning i once again won't see ovechkin, staal, the flyers, the rangers etc.....:bang: ........

overall, was a fun season.......hopefully a lot of the same people will be back next year........

Agree with you totally FF.

Season is way to late. If they don't want to shorten the season because of revenue, Why don't they just start the season a month earlier, in Sept??

Also....the schedule is the biggest mistake of Bettmans tenure.
No Leafs/Wings??? That was the biggest rivalry of my generation around here...loved those old Norris clashes.
And the teams that are really steamed are the Western Canadian clubs. No Leafs and Habs out west really hurts them.

And believe it or not, even with Edmonton in the cup, thye ratings were down up here on the CBC as well. Carolina is no draw whatsoever.

Overall....good year, and WB, although is burns by ass to see the cup in a non-hockey market, congrats to you. Nice to see a real fan.
