Just a heads up for those that want to bet on Japan because of their unique skill of the ball and thinking game.

From what I could gather, there is a lot of turmoil going on in that team, apparently the captain of the Japan team Nakata came out saying that this team doesn' t play with much heart. This is information I gathered during the world cup preview show. Plus I have watched Japan in some of the qualifiying games against Iran, uruguay and they looked okay but not as good as what people are expecting.

So buyers beware, this team has a lot of talent but it's not a team that can overcome adversity or player under pressure.

this is from another site:

typically, asian teams are technically sound, but are not very fond of physical play, and no one in the stadium knows that better than gus hiddink ... only 1 member of the jap back 4 is above 180cm, although they have been drilling on it in practice this week (behind all the hoopla in the media between their 2 "stars"), but the aerial game will prove to be their achilles hill when up against relative giants in the likes of viduka, cahill, or even a brett emerton ... and oh yes, the referee is egyptian, and we all know the love affair mr hiddink has with them
