Australia's odds are just too good to refuse, and they are the better team in this match. Japan struggled to make it here in the first place and they still are, including their last 2 friendlies.

Italy I don't see them losing their opening match of the WC, especially to Ghana.

I am really torn on Australia. Compared to Japan they are a completely different team physically and should overpower them in that sense. None of Japan's defenders is taller than 180cm (about 6'0) so Australia can take advantage of that. Japan's passing is far superior though.

I'm not going to bet right now. I'll probably put something down right before the game.
