Al-Qaida Leader in Iraq Dead After Air Strike
By PATRICK QUINN, AP

BAGHDAD, Iraq (June 8) - Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the most-wanted terrorist in Iraq who waged a bloody campaign of beheadings and suicide bombings, was killed when U.S. warplanes dropped 500-pound bombs on his isolated safehouse, officials said Thursday. His death was a long-sought victory in the war in Iraq.

CF, I think every morning they ought to show the trade centers being diminished before our eyes so we never lose focus on these devils and the thousands of live that these devils diminished along with the towers. Bush just happened to be president at the time. I certainly would'nt sit by with ANY apathy. Get r done

As terrible as that would be, to watch that day in and day out...AMEN :bbang:

I still remember sitting in my dorm room and my neighbor busting in at 7am telling me to turn on the TV to watch that shit go down. I thought I was draming or watching a movie but definitely could not believe my eyes. Sad day my friends.

Iraq is by no means a success. I dont think alot of people consider any war a success. War is a means to an end, unfortunately.

Funny how we hear the left say that the war in Iraq had nothing to do with Terrorism...hmm..ok:puke:

Keep it up George:thumbs:

Keep up the Strategery:thumbs:

Tips from within Abu Musab al-Zarqawi 's own terror network helped the U.S. locate and bomb a secret meeting among the al-Qaida leader and top associates at a safe house north of Baghdad, military officials said Thursday.

OBL is next :yeah:

Theres a country singer that sings a GREAT song called "Have you Forgotten?"

I think its Daryl Worley.

Relates to what what Yo is talking about with showing it every morning.

God Bless America! It's a crazy country but it's ours. Fuck those pieces of shit that try to create a living scared environment for us!

I hear people saying
we don't need this war

I say there's some things, worth fighting for
What about our freedom
and this piece of ground?
We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down

They say we don't realize
the mess we're getting in
Before you start preaching
Let me ask you this my friend

Have you forgotten
how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?

Have you forgotten
when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

They took all the footage
off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbing for you and me
It'll just breed anger
that's what the experts say
If it was up to me
I'd show it every day

Some say this country's just out
looking for a fight
After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right

Have you forgotten
how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten
when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside Going through a living hell
And we vowed to get the ones behind Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

I've been there with the soldiers
Who've gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember
Just what they're fighting for

Have you forgotten
all the people killed?
Yes, some went down like heroes
in that Pennsylvania field

Have you forgotten
about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

GREAT SONG, MAYBE ONE OF BEST ALL TIME.

One song that got me was the remix of Skynards "Tuesdays gone with the Wind". It was tissue time baby. Have'nt heard it since but Ol Mont ain't forgot about the hell they imposed in a rat like fashion. Kill em all and don't even sort em out.

For the record, I don't have not one political bone in my body. How many people died in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Not as many as we lost in in the 9/11 bombings. In our retaliation of PH, we lost more Americans by far. By far. Japenese ain't fkd with us since. Alquida ain't learned their lesson. They are still trying to kill americans and if we don't nip it, nip it in the bud, they'll bomb us every fkn day. It ain't Bush, its America as a whole. Here's one. Next time a fella says violence is not the answer, punch him in the face. And when he doesnt do anything punch him again and this time come from down town LOL. A person can only take so much before they retaliate.

:flag: You better believe it! This is what America does, we export freedom and end tyranny when it needs to be done. The cost of it is American lives and that's just a reality. Sometimes we are able to make the choice that diplomacy and time can be used to win, sometimes it takes boots on the ground. In pre-war Iraq, 400 babies died every day due to lack of basic medical care. That's 400 babies. Despite the fact that we didn't find WMD's, that was only part of the reason we went in, and they did have them, they just moved them, inspectors point out that what they did find in Iraq was far more dangerous than WMD's. What they found was a society in total disaray, and infrastructure non-existent, and a people on the brink of complete humanitarian disaster...and they said the potential consequences of that, in a Middle Eastern country strategically located as Iraq is, could have been far worse than even the most dire assessment of the current condition.

You know, the thing is....ah nevermind, I aint' even gonna open that can of worms! Myself, not a big fan of the patriotic country songs! I don't know, they seem contrived and idiotic to me! I see patriotic songs as a whole different animal, so I'm not buying anytime soon!

Hopefully, I won't get burned for that paragraph above! It pains me to read the NEW body count every other day on the computer! You guys know my opinion of Bush! And if you've forgotten, it ain't good! But that's irrelevant now. I want our troops back now! I want the death toll to end. I remember 9/11...seriously, who the fuck can forget that day! But what about RIGHT NOW??? I just want our men and women back in the arms of the ones who love them! Simple as that.....

I prefer Neil Young's new song, "Impeach the President", but everyone has different opinions.
