I remember during football season someone posted a phone number that you call and can get sports score updates on, but I don't rememeber what the number was. If someone knows it and could post it in here that would be great, Thanks....

you can get the premium sports alert package for $20.00 yr... then whatever your text messages cost. + you can customize what scores you want and how often..

HD- i pay 5.00 a month and it has nothing to do with my airtime. I can get espn.com, nba.com, nhl.com, mbl.com....pretty much up to the minute scores on CBB and CFB as well. Only thing i can't get live updates on are things like Nascar and tennis.

I had requested information from verizon awhile back, and they indeed stated that airtime charges would apply at 4x the normal price...

wow, i have sprint nextel and it's just a flat rate......i have internet which basically gets me to most sites like espn.com, yahoo.com, nhl nba mlb...all that stuff....i have had it for probably 5 years or so...love it....espn gives live player stats for sports which is cool if you do fantasy stuff......

that's cool... I just don't understand how they give that airtime away( anytime that phone is connected to a wave, it should be using airtime)... I have been with verizon for a long time, but I may look into changing my carrier...:gulp:

I wouldnt call those free phone lines. You'll have touts calling you trying to sell you picks and then they turn around and sell those addresses to other touts. Before you know it you'll have sportsbooks calling you too cause they get their hands on those lists.

Avoid calling scorelines at all costs!

Send a text message with the team name (works for any sport) to 4INFO (44636).

Also works for stock quotes (text "stock quote msft" for example for microsoft)

There used to be a toll free number 1 800 555 TELL but i dont think they exist anymore.

I use the internet function on my phone and with verizon it costs $5 a month and you use airtime...on weekends checking football is free minutes!

1)Sports phone
2)Cell phone with internet
3)Sports pager


I would drop the first two and go with number 3 in a heart beat!

There is nothing better than hitting a button and having up to the minute scores! Screw the internet phone that takes forever, I know I use it nightly at work and the sports phone ha ha forgetaboutit! 5 minutes of advertising what a joke!

LMAO...i lost my cell phone at the Jake last 4th of July. It was dollar hot dog night and i could only carry so much with me....so i carried the 15 hot dogs, 2 beers and left the cell phone on the condiment counter.....priorities.....:thumbs: ..only thing that sucked was when i had to buy one the next day, the only Nextel store downtown was in the worst part of Cleveland (is there a best part?...buhdumm dummm).
