I like the play Horatio, he's got an EASY road to the quarters where he'll meet Gonzalez or Gaudio, then he'd have Robredo or Ljubicic in the semis, then Nalbandian or Federer in the finals. Looks like there's no reason he shouldn't make it to the championship match at least, but we'll see what happens.

Crazy tourney in the first round as bad clay players had suprising victories but it settled down in the 2nd round. The better clay players are proving there worth now. You'll see Nadal, Almagro, Nalbandian, Gonzalez and players like that start to step it up now. Tough overall matchups for Thursday. I'll have a few with only Roddick and Nalbandian as the two with a decisive advantage. The others are all in pretty tough matchups. Good Luck!!!!

Oh, My, God...what a match. Monfils just took the first set. I'm watching this one online, he was down a break early and fought back, was down a break again and fought back, then was up a break and blew it. Then in the tiebreak he was up early but then had to save a set point, then he had a set point of his own and blew it, then on his 2nd set point he finally took it. 90 minute first set. These two have played the most amazing matches and this is another one. Please Gael finish him off now.
UPDATE:
After an early exchange of breaks in the 2nd Monfils finally holds serve. So far there's been 8 of 13 break points won in this match. Back and forth we go. A lot of good French players out there...Grosjean, Gasquet, Monfils, Mathieu, Serra, Santoro, Simon, Clement. Mahut is on his way up as well!
Now 4-1 Monfils in the 2nd set, looking solid. Could have been up 5-1 but Monfils goes 0/5 on break points in the game now it's 4-2.

Davydenko has been injured since the semis of Barcelona. He's got some back issues and there were even rumors that he wasn't going to play vs. Nalby in last weeks finals. I think he quit so he could rest up for Hamburg, Roland Garros and Wimbeldon.

Horatio that's not a throw away, I almost did the same thing. Gonzalez is tough as nails and Nadal simply must lose on clay one of these days, and I thought this could be the one. I was going to take it at +1052 and that seemed very reasonable but I layed off and just played some women's matches. Right now it looks like It's 6-4 1-0 Nadal so he's probably on his way, but he will lose on clay soon, you just gotta have it pegged when it happens and you can make some money. He'll get by Roddick/Monfils but maybe Fed/Nalby can take him this week. If not he will for sure lose in Hamburg, it's just not possible to keep winning like that.

Nalby vs FedEx is a tough matchup. If Nalby is on it'll be tough for Fed but if his mind is off FedEx will destroy him. Just a note, Nalbandian has withdrawn from next weeks TMS for personal reasons. So I don't know what that might mean. Just a food for thought.

for the info regarding Nalbandian. In truth, if Federer's price is even close to reasonable, I always bet on him. I am aware how tough Nalbandian can be against Federer, but obviously it is very very hard to bet against Fedex. If Nalbandian has other things on his mind, he will be in trouble fast!!

Honestly it could mean he's going home to race. He's an avid race car fan and it's known that he wants to retire in a few years to become a race car driver. Not sure if that's the reason but I only know that he pulled out of next weeks tourney.

Thought you would land on Nalbandian. After checking over the record, I see Federer lost the only clay court match they have played. Nalbo 6-4 lifetime against Federer. I am torn:Federer priced much lower than usual; but Nalbo, against anyone else with a similar head to head record would be favored...
I can't go against Nadal, however. Why not? Well ""I took a bit of power off my serve but that was because I couldn't afford to miss many first serves as he would have attacked my second serve with his forehand," he added.
Even Nadal is suprised at how well he is playing.
"I'm hitting the ball closer to the lines and I'm even coming to the net from time to time. It's not often that I have been played this well," he admitted, an ominous sign for anyone trying to end his clay court run." Yikes!!!
Will be interesting but if one of those hits you are in the black. GL

and I may go heavy. I just think Federer's game is so finely tuned, he just can't handle the odd bounces clay sometimes offers up, especially with Nadal's wild, heavy, heavy topspin.
I also think that. unlike some players, Nadal can make adjustments within the match that equal those of Fedex.
Federer, when it comes down to it, out-tthinks a lot of his opponents. (Andy Roddick:please, please start thinking within a match).
Throw in the record chance, and I think Nadal wins. Now it is a matter of how much to load up, and I am not gonna go nuts, because Federer is, after all, Federer.
But I still think Nadal takes him.
