Heres what im liking tonight

Rangers/Devils to go to OT @ 4.25 x 1 unit ( 5 dimes )

Like the flames/ducks series I expect this series to be very tight. Devils know how to get it done in the playoffs and Jagr and his line will be facing a 5 man unit everytime they step on to this ice. This series also has 2 tenders in brodeur and lundqvist who can steal games for their teams. Like in calgary I will be pumping this play regularely. I dont expect it to hit everytime but it should a few times.

Devils @ 1.50 to win 2 units

Devils are playing to well at the moment to not expect them to take one of the 2 games in their yard. More than likely I expect both teams to take both their home games but I will take the devils here and should they falter I will double up next game as they arent going into msg down 2.

Dallas @ 1.57 to win 2 units

Until Jose can show me he's regained major form I will expect the porous avs defence and shaky goalie play to allow at least 3-4 against and with the stars solid on the back end I would expect the stars forwards to clamp down as well and not let the avs have much of a sniff. They dont want the avs snipers getting any confidence.

Philly ml @ 2.35 x 2 units

If this misses I will double this one up next game as I believe the flyers head back to philly with a split. This series has got a down to the wire feel to it including a couple splits for me, that is of course if Esche finds his game again. This philly team was built for the playoffs in mind albeit the old playoff style but they still have more experience and the forsberg advantage.

I am cheering montreal tonight so I cant allow myself to bet that game with a clear head so im off it.

flmmz- GL!.....Esche has found his game about 4 games ago.....unless you watch them, you wouldn't know it from his stats because PHI has been ATROCIOUS in front of him.....NJD constantly pounded him with 2 on 1's and 3 on 1's.....he is the only reason most of those games werent' 10-1......he is playing his best hockey of the year right now. PHI special teams have killed them all year long and playing the top ranked PP and PK at home in BUF won't help. They may get a split, but they have a lot of things to clean up to even be competitive in that series. GL!... ...nice job yesterday BTW

thanks buddy and back at you, nice day for you as well ,

glad to hear esche has found his game that makes me feel stronger about my play. I have to admit I didnt follow them as closely as I would've but watching my team miss the playoffs made me wanna stop watching for a while so thanks for the info.

GL flimmz, going with the home team in game one with Buffalo, if Forsberg is healthy and on his game, then its philly but i must see game one to see that first. Dallas is solid and that's interesting th rangers OT prop, not bad at all, 1-1 thru one so far.. BOL

I agree- Forsberg IS NOT healthy....NOT, NOT, NOT.......he is probably about 60-70 percent and he won't be healthy anytime during the playoffs....he just sat out 6 of the last 7 games in the past 3 weeks....he hasn't been healthy since November. And he hasn't played well when he has played....i've tossed this stat out a million times....

2 multipoint games L21 games
8 points L14 games
6 PP points L28 games......

He isn't healthy......those are piss poor numbers and whether it is due to his injury or not, who knows.....but i keep seeing and hearing that Forsberg is going to magically carry this team...not happening.....that is an unbiased and unfortunate thing for me.....

would love to see him putting up 3 PPG...but you can't live in what if land.....you have to look at the reality and the reality is he isn't healthy.......you don't have a groin that has bugged you for 4 months and has kept u out of 6 of L7 games and all the sudden be healthy...........if you're betting PHI and your not doing so with the expectation that Forsbers is 65 percent, you are fooling yourself and it is a bad cap on the situtation. Just my 2 cents...so i agree....you have to wait a couple games IMO to see how PHI is going to play......

Esche deserved to win, the rest of the team did not. Exactly like the Oilers/Wings game. Rolo deserved to win but the rest of the team did not.

nice call ff, Esche was great all night. Let out some fat rebounds but didnt stop him from making the saves. Philly was never dominating the game but they looked seriously undermanned in the ots.

so for yesterday:

-2 units philly

-1 ot play

- 3 ( rounding up ) on dallas ( what a stinker of a game that was )

+ 2 on nj

- 4 units on the day and 1 w - 3 l

overall record is now:

5 W - 3 L

+ 5.1 units
