i wish the nj/ny total was at 6....can't bring myself to play the 5.5....

maybe i'll still get on it, brodeur is the playoff vet and lundquist was BIG in the olympics...

i'm leaning toward NJ on the ML as well.

haven't seen much opinion regarding the NY/NJ game 1.... any thoughts?

DrP- GL!.....that series is going to be a war. I don't like playing a team that has won 11 straight vs. a team that has lost 5 straight.....don't forget, the NYR were a top 3 team until they faded over the last week and a half. 2 weeks ago, the seeds were reversed. Jagr has been playing "forsbergesque" lately, but he could toss up a 3 point night in a NY minute.....don't know how Lundqvist is going to play either, as he is just back from an injury that sidelined him for the better part of 3 weeks. This isn't a normal 6 seed that just got into the playoffs and was a fringe team all season. This NYR team played very good hockey and as i said, was in control of their division for most of the season. I think it may go 7, and i would like to see how the series plays out and get a feel for the flow of the series b4 i lay any money on it. U know me, i am never afraid of the chalk, but i am not laying -200 with NJD until i see how the NYR match up and how they are playing....whether it is the NYR team that beat PHI in PHI opening night or if it is the one that has lost 5 straight and Jagrmeister has gone milk carton....GL!

thats what i've been sayin too.....i can't understand why everyone (meaning tv/radio "experts") are so quick to write off the rangers...

half way through the season, it wasn't an unpopular pick for the rangers to go deep. what has REALLY changed?

i feel the same in respect to laying off until we see the matchup...

picking spots may be the way i go...

if the devs lose today, i'll be them to win game 2.

i will play the rangers to win game 3, if they lose double up on 4.

i think they'll comeback big time in game 2......the team needs to tighten up....turco was fine, which is a good sign imo. the team will get a bashing and will want to pick it up for the tender.
