3-3 last night
MLB WEDNESDAY PICKS:
White Sox RL -124------- 5 Units
Atlanta Braves +124----- 2 Units
New York Yankees -142-------- 2 Units
KC ROYALS- in the final game of a road series were 7-19 last year, 5 of those games decided by 1 run. Thats only 19% of these games being decided by 1 run, when the league average is 34%, something along those lines... and winning at a rate of 27%.
I tip my cap to Jeremy Affeldt, he did a nice job yesterday, stunning.
Unless Elarton throws a complete game gem, Royals will not slow down the Sox tomorrow. Ozzie wants this sweep.
In a division where it could shape up to 4 teams within 5 or 6 games of each other down the stretch, this type of game is absolutely important for the Pale Sox.
And I know the Royals are not going to go 2-160. And playing against a team avoiding a sweep isn't recommended.. BUT lets not underestimate how terrible this Royals team really is.
AND starting 2-12 isn't out of question. Scott Elarton or anyone in that bullpen is hardly who i want on the bump to prevent that from happening.
I like my chances.
-Bravos, Kyle Davies did a nice job yesterday resting some arms in that pen. WIth a little rest and a nice start from Huddie, I'll take my chances.
-Yankees--- Lilly in 14 IP gave up 24 hits and 18 Earned Runs vs. the Spankees last year.
His previous outing was against Boston where he struck out 10 in 7 IP.... Boston is a team he has had success against.... going 3-0 against the Red Sox in 2005.
Soooo, success against the Red Sox, nice outing.
Not so successful against the Yankees, lets take our chances with a poor outing.
His 1st start of the year in the SkyDome he lasted 2.1 Innings against TB giving up 6 walks, 4 hits, and 3 ER
might be back for later games if all 3 of these lose. LOL
Good Luck Today
