Now I've never umpired a baseball game from behind the plate....but one would assume it would be pretty hard to miss a pitch that bounces off the batter's foot.....which is what just happened in the Pittsburgh/Cincinnati game.

Don't know if it would have made a difference or not....but that's just horrible.
