well after posting in the discussion thread I was left wondering what I would play if anything, thought it might just be a day off but in the end I ended up going with a fairly big card. Hoping my nice day yesterday keeps on going
Rangers ml @ 3.0 x 1 unit over Sens
Basically boils down to Jagr and co tired versus the fresher Sens but a sens team thats depleted on the back end. Phillips, Chara and as of a press release today Redden all not playing in tonights game. The czech national teams hard for to handle for all star national teams, let alone call up minor leaguers. I see this being an end to end rushes type game with plenty of chances for the rangers due to the inexperience and causing the sens to open it up to play catchup. If it plays out as I see it that would leave goalies being the difference in this one. Emery hasnt proved enough to me and the lack of dman depth will hurt him. Lundqvist has been great all year. Too much value here to ignore for me.
I also see this game going over 6.5 @ 1.95 . For the reasons listed above to win 1 unit
Montreal x NJ @ 2.28 x 1 unit
I couldn't find another game to play montreal with and I really wanted to play it somewhere, I was going to play jsersey in a single anyway so I added it on. Caps played a good game against the canes last night but canadians are playing better hockey than the canes right now. Huet is dialed in, forwards scoring, dmen playing smart, just playing as a team with purpose. But at 1.33ish its not worth the value alone.
NJ gets buffalo. BUff finally broke the 6 game slide yesterday but they still appear to be in coast mode for the most part. Moving up or down at this stage seems unlikely for them so they seemed to have put into neutral waiting for the post season. NJ hasnt played great hockey as of late but needs the wins to keep itself in the playoff race. Good home team in the devils, and they get in a buff team that played last night that has no reason to play hard right now while they themselves have every reason to push.
MTL/ Washington U6.5 @ 1.87 to win 1 unit
I dont see the caps getting more than a goal tonight and 2 would be a cap the way Huets playing and the way the teams playing in front of him right now. Caps also blew their load last night popping in 5 on the canes last night big games back to back are rare. Montreal wins it easily (knock on wood) but dont score a lot of goals themselves so 3-1,4-2 ish I dont see it going higher than that.

2 teams that need wins, atl more but regardless TB hasnt locked up anything yet. Both tend to be free flowing and have the potential to light it up but in an important game for both I think they'll be squeezing the sticks tonight and hustling on d all night. Nobody wants to be the goat tonight so it wont be cherry picking and odd man rushes all game, 3-2 type game that should go down to the wire.
