1-1-1 on Wednesday, as i took the BUF -1 instead of the ML....23-5-1 L29..............forgot about my VAN play....

not going to play a lot, but absolutely love one today.....

OTT -240......................going to lay the wood here. Might play it at -1 tomorrow a 5d. NYR are playing their 5th game in 7 nights (2 went to OT) and 4 of them on the road, plus BB and 3I4. That is a complete biatch for even world class athletes. They are also coming off a big win over their area rivals in the Islanders last night. OTT is only 3 points ahead of CAR now and has its sights set on the top spot. After a game and 2/3 of another in sleep walk mode...they appeared to right the ship in the 3rd period against the Devils. Bottom line is that the NYR have to be one tired hockey club. OTT is playing for just the 2nd time since Saturday and on a day's rest. I would be surprised to see anything less than an inspired effort from OTT and a tired sloppy effort from NYR. OTT also has some revenge from a 5-1 dismantling at the hands of NYR last month......statement game for OTT....and If NYR can walk in here playing for the 5th time in 7 nights and pick up a road win in OTT, i will pay homage.....

i am not playing anything else.....i will probably put some money on the -1 as well.....going a little bigger than normal on this one...

GL FlyerFan, but i'm not totally agree...

Yeah Ottawa have good chances to win this game but at -240....a lot of juice consider that their two best defensive defensemen (CHARA and PHILLIPS) will be out of the line-up...
Chara and Phillips are what ? 55 minutes on the ice per game ?

And on the other side...

Jagr is always on the ice....

Lew- THX!.....you need legs to score goals, and i don't know how the NYR are going to have anything left in the tank for this one. I just think that this game sets up nicely for OTT, no matter who is on the ice. Don't forget PHI won 11 of 12 with 5 of their 6 D men out...IMO, the biggest factor in this game is the NYR schedule...not only playing 3I4, BB and 5I7 but at the end of the season when you are already worn down from a full schedule.....sometimes you have to look outside the actual matchup, IMO...there are lots of different angles and handicpas to games......GL!

Yeah but...I prefer to see how the Sens will do without Chara AND Phillips.... before putting some money on them...


But your points are very good...and yes, the chances are good that a team like Ottawa will take advantage of the Rangers' situation (5 games in 7 nights ??!)

angelus- THX!...you know the thing of it is, i tied tonight...but you aren't going to lose in a SO or a 1 goal game....i can take the OTT -240 and turn it into -1 -130 tomorrow and cut the juice in half.....i did that with PHI and doubled my play on Saturday vs. OTT....i would really recommend playing there.....you can actually get OTT +1 1/2 there tomorrow.....probably at -1500....lol...but it is still there.....GL!

Yeah, I've been debating for the last month whether to start playing there or not...but I figured it's so close to the end of the season, I might as well just wait until next year.

But now I'm hearing they have good baseball lines. 5 cent overnights I think. So maybe I should just take the plunge...lol

Hey FF, I am wondering what sportbook do you have. You said that you can take a hockey line like Ottawa -1.5 and make it a +1.5. None of my sportsbook have that. That would be absolutely awesome. Just tell me what sportsbook does it for you.

lol.........yes, 5 dimes has about everything for hockey....1-3 period lines, 1/2 point adjustments on totals.....-2's, +1 1/2's for favorites.....good stuff

on a side note....done playing the MIN/VAN mini series...as i said, i was playing VAN in the series to win one of the 2 as i felt MIN wouldn't sweep 3 from VAN/EDM.....VAN won the 1st game, so not playing the second (actually makes me 1-1-1 woohooo...lol)

not a bad play FF, rangers do not play well at Ottawa and like i mentioned in another thread, Jagr has scored only once in last 10 meetings. Although i do see a tight game since Ottawa dfmen are injured. I see a 3-2 ottawa win.

1/2- THX!...funny thing about sports is that sometimes losing guys works the opposite way...not in the long term, but in the short term. Look at PHI with no forsberg, gagne, pikanen, jonsonn, desjardins, rathje, kapanen....and they still went on an amazing run of like 11 out of 12......hoping the sens circle the wagons.....

1-0 tonight....as OTT pretty much dominates the NYR tonight.................24-5-1 L30......

glad i stuck to my guns on this play......OTT looked good tonight and the NYR looked tired....12 games in 20 nights....and i gotta go back to PHI winning 11 of 12 with tons of injuries...you just can't say well these 3 guys are missing so they are going to lose which seemed to be the consensus.......other guys will always step up, especially on talented teams like OTT.....i still say there was zero value in the NYR tonight......
