question about teasers

im a newbie, and it seems like my book has 8 pt. teasers that pay 12 to 10 and ties=losses. you can only pick three teams. is there anything wrong with teasers like these? an example:

Teaser : Basketball 8 pt. Teaser n

Select #1 : NCAA Basketball for Game
Michigan Wolverines 3/28/2006 7:00:01 PM - EST
Spread +8 for Game
Select #2 : NCAA Basketball for Game

Total Points OVER 116½ for Game
Select #3 : NCAA Basketball for Game
Louisville Cardinals 3/28/2006 9:20:01 PM - EST
Spread +10 for Game
Amount : Risking 120.00 To Win 100.00 USD

If I were you I would stick with 2 team teasers. Go with michigan +8 and go with Louisiville +8. I think these two are solid picks. They will be close games. So I think you should go for that. Avoid the over and under, play it in the second half.

nader very good point in the two-team teaser of 'ville and mich... Havent played 8pt teasers, only played once a 4.5, 2team teaser and won. Hope you hit ur picks though.GL
