looks like a good day for most on Sunday....interesting card today....
CAR -175..............CAR lost the first game home after being on the road forever and that was understandable.....i don't see them laying 2 clunkers in a row together. TAM is due for an L. I think this is the best play on the board.
BUF/NYR.............over6........neither team can keep the puck out of their own net, no matter who is in net. both offenses have been doing well....may buy this down to 5 1/2 at 5 dimes.....thing the over is a good play....see a 4-3/5-3 type game....much like these teams have been playing lately
FLA/BOS.....lean to BOS.....they have been playing well....and haven't quit yet....
LAK +1 1/2............VAN isn't blowing anyone out and the LAK got a huge boost when frolov came back and the coaching change apparently has changed the PP look and they scored 3 times vs. Nashville.....
those are my thoughts...will almost surely play CAR....and quite possibly the other 3....
GL to everyone!

hey FF good to hear from ya. havent seen the lines in my sportsbooks but here are my early opinions:
Tb/car... playing on carolina seems like a stong play, gotta do some research tomorrow.. but a stronger play IMO is the over in this game. These teams when they play each other light up the scoreboard and i am anticipating the line being 6.5, which will make me a little wearly b/c if it were 6, i'd be all over the over.
The NYR/BUF game as well in terms of total. I see your sportsbook has it at 6, i thought it would be at 6.5 but if its at 6 FF, the over is a money play as well.
those are the ones i have seen so far. be back tomorrow with more insight and picks. Lets hit the bookie where the sun dont shine fellas!!! GLTA

Always fun to read you FF...
I like the Carolina and LA +1,5 pick too.
For Buf/NYR over, i'm not so sure...
There was only 4 goals per game in average in the 3 meetings beetween these teams this season...
And NYR at home are, O/U 11-25 and Buffalo on the road
are O/U 14-20 ....so i'm not sure with this pick same if both teams have a very good offense.
My other pick will probably be Det -1,5
Tough loss at home against Columbus saturday...they will probably play a big game at St.Louis
I think Detroit is the best team in the NHL on the road and St-Louis are on a 6 game losing streak...
Detroit are 5-1 against St.Louis this season and 4-2 ATS.
Without Sanford...the Blues are not there.
Good Luck tomorrow!!

im going to the canucks game tomorrow and im gonna be on the over big time... I think its a solid play so is LAK +1.5 but too much juice for me... maybe small ML play as well BOL

ret- have fun at the game......i was looking at the over there, as well....LAK and VAN both having goaltending issues.....
lew- thanks.....i agree with you....i look for DET to bounce back..they need points as they are trying to get home ice for hte playoffs.....but i just don't like those -1 1/2's......might play it -1 at 5 dimes....reasoning behind the over in the BUF/NYR game is the same as i had in the BUF/BOS game on Saturday that ended up 5-4.....all the games had been 3-2 type games....but you have to look at how teams are playing now....BUF and NYR aren't getting the goaltending that they were 2 months ago....and they are both putting the puck in the opponents net to the tune of 3-4 goals/game.....could very well be a 3-2, 2-1 game...but nothing i have seen since the olympic break is steering me that way......

Im leaning towards the over in the Van game as well. Good pts FF, I've been playing unders till about 2-3 weeks ago and was up, but then kept losing seeing most games going over. Inconsistent goaltending as of late for most teams.

I like Vancouver on the ML tomorrow. Canucks seem to have a little roll going, LA struggles still.
But I do like the +1.5...
Vancouver never blows out teams, I swear they have cover a -1.5 like 5 times all year...
They hardly ever win by more than a goal.

Really? Florida has won 5 straight and are 8-1-1 in their last 10. I like the Panthers here...especially at + money.
Detroit -1.5 is a gimmie. They won't take it easy and the Blues are playing horrible...losers of six straight.
LA at +144 might be worth a shot. New coach, Frolov back...and the Canucks shouldn't scare anyone.

If the Canucks don't win this game I think they miss the playoffs. I want to stay away from a bet on them cause I'll be cheering for them so hard. but in the other games...
Buffalo @ New York Rangers.
-- I dont know how the o/u is set at 6 but I will probably go over. It's an even number, which I love, plus I would never bet on an under with the Rangers. They can both score and get scored on. With Buffalo on a bit of a slide I would also take NYR at home but I probably wont since my book only gives MLs and no spreads on hockey.
Tampa Bay @ Carolina
-- I dont really like much in this game but I have a feeling this will go over 6.5
Florida @ Boston
-- Boston is coming off a high-scoring win over Buffalo but I wonder if Florida considers themselves to still be in the playoff hunt. Florida is 8-1-1 L10 and with Luongo in net I like them to win outright as underdogs on the road.
Detroit @ St. Louis
-- If your book gives odds than Detroit -1.5 is looking good but Detroit on the ML is not very profitable. o/u 6.5 is too much for me cause I dont know if St.L will even score in this one.
Los Angeles @ Vancouver
-- I should stay away from this one because my love for the Canucks is clouding my jugement. I think they'll win however.

Im biased here as well cause im a canuck die hard but I dont see this being one the kings can win. Covering the 1.5 possibly but after losing Roenick last game, while hes not the player he was, he still is the 2nd most talented player on that squad not counting Demitra who is out and after Frolov. The nash game was well played for the kings but really nash is a team going thru the motions, they cant win their division cant move up and unlikely to move down so just ride it out and try not to lose any players to injury and focus on home games. With that the kings got to play at home, new coach, playoffs on the line and they took advantage but not a shocking win that proved much to me. They get a team thats as hungry as them in a hostile environment and find themselves up against a more talented team in van tonight. The questions always vans heart, but if the way they played against edmonton in all 3, if that is any indication they should be game tonight and way too much team for the kings.
Lean tampa, rangers, and flo as well.

I think FLA wins SU. But, as usual,

Also, I'm with you on DET -1.5!

I think this is a classic example of the increase in discussion here helping everybody out. Honestly, I don't think I make that play without the discussion here and I'm thinking others can probably say the same thing.
Well done guys!

Ive just been taking nothing but overs lately. While I'm sure some games will be under I hate playing those cause it's so painful watching teams score when im on the under. Plus powerplays and empty net goals always hurt.
