the 2nd half of the bball burns me again last night when philly lost a game it should on paper win but as the saying goes thats why they play em. Islanders blowing the lead was frustrating as well but decent card tonight:
Sabres @ 1.83 over the Bruins to win 2 units
Both have played 4 in 6 nights and both riding losing streaks. The sabres are comfortably in the playoffs and the bruins comfortably out so a free team (boston) playing a relativly free team. Sabres still however are playing for home ice in a potential match up with a philly team thats coming on in the first round. After last nights no show again to the sens I expect Ruff to have his boys ready to go tonight as he doesnt want them backing into the playoffs against a tough team like philly. Sabres have incentive edge and the talent edge. No reason they cant walk out with this game tonight if they put in the effort.
Flyers @ 2.10 over the Sens x 2 units
Both teams are coming into this one on a tear, ott with 4 straight wins and philly with 4 wins in their last 5. Philly is the dog in this one but so far they own the head to head this season, have this one in their yard and get the sens off a game last night with the sabres. Philly is also rested having not played since wednesday, so you know that hitch has the flyers ready and they're just waiting for a crack at the best. Game that means more to the flyers and they have all the intangibles going for them. At the value seems a no brainer for me.
Red wings x dallas Mavs @ 1.6 to win 2 units
Back at the joe for the wings, getting in a columbus team that battled it out with calgary last night. A game with the flames is always a dog fight and they should be spent for tonights match up. Mavs blew their last game at home, this ones on the road but its the hawks, no way they lose 2 games they should win in a row.
Canes x Suns @ 1.5 to win 1 unit
Denver comes to phoenix, amares back, nash is still the mvp, matrix... too much team tonight especially coming off a game last night for the nugs. Canes get washington, in carolina. Canes arent exactly playing their best hockey but then they wont need to tonight.
