2-1 on Friday....10-3 L13....problem is that i am not playing games i like and they are winning...left 2 winners off on Friday again....

PHI +1 1/2.................absolutely love this play. PHI has won 3 of 4 vs. OTT this year and is finally healthy (knock on wood). They have been able to play guys together for 4 or 5 games now and it is showing. OTT played a tough game vs. Buffalo on Friday. No Chara for OTT tonight. PHI is playing as well as they have played all season. The main reason is that they finally have most of their blue line back and they are cutting down on the other teams scoring opportunities that were there with the fill in guys from the Phantoms. Gauthier has been a great addition, as well. I honestly think PHI will give OTT its best game, especially with the opportunity to take over 1st place. Lots of juice, but i just can't see PHI losing by 2 tomorrow at home. Going to toss a couple extra units on this one......

EDM +1 1/2...............another juice job, but think it is justified. EDM outplayed VAN in the 2nd game and VAN still is an average team. I just can't see EDM losing all 3 games this week. VAN may have that fat dumb and happy feeling from having won the first 2 and EDM i would hope would really be desperate tonight for a W. Plenty of teams have won at VAN this year...add EDM to that list, IMO.

I was really excited about the Ottawa -130 line. Seems that they are 12-1-1 in last 14 I believe. Or something like that. I don't know how to guage Phili right now. I have avoided them for awhile now.

1/2- THX!.....

posted a couple of +1 1/2's last night but am playing the +1. I always play what i post, but i do my capping at night and 5 dimes doesn't release lines until the AM next day. Just felt that the +1 was a better option since i had so much juice working and i wanted to go big on the PHI play.

Final Plays for today are......

PHI +1 -162...............would rather lay -100 less and take a push

EDM +1 -162...............same reasoning as above.....

SAN/MIN under6 1/2 -160...................Fernandez hasn't given up more than 3 goals but a couple of times this season. Toskala will be in net for SAN and has been very good of late. SAN isn't as good as their 6 vs. StLouis and not as bad as being shut out in Detroit.....3 goals wins this one, IMO.

OTT/PHI over1 1/2 (3rdP) -180..................PHI gives up a lot of goals in the 3rd period...can't tell you how many games have gone into the 3rd at 1-1 and ended up 5-4 in PHI games.

LAK +1 -180.....................weakest by far of my plays today, but going to give LAK one last chance. Frolov should be back in the lineup and the LAK are desperate, desperate, desperate tonight.....looking for some renewed energy from them tonight with the coaching change. If they lose, i am done with them for the season.

BUF/BOS over5 1/2 -145......................both teams were shut down last night and both top lines were held in check. Neither of these teams has been keeping the puck out of their net. Going to take a shot with this one......

played everything i had an opinion on tonight. see if it was a good or bad thing....lol...

not because it is winning 4-0...still far from over, but i thought PHI was the best play on the board and i am surprised they didn't get any attention today. OTT played a tough game last night and PHI is finally healthy...and they are 3-1 vs. OTT this year.....hope they keep it up...i need a good goaltending performance from nitty for my fantasy playoffs....

I'd love to see another Ott/Phi playoff series. I think that Philly is the only team in the east that could knock off Ottawa. I say that having not seen Carolina play once this season however.

eagles- i bet the 3P over 1 1/2.....should have been 12 1/2 the way PHI plays 3rd periods.....3 HUGE wins, though, and lots of momentum....NYR lost in OT, so PHI is in 1st place now.....just loved them today.....loaded up on them...always feels good when your team wins and wins you a bunch of money...lol...

1/2 point buy comes in handy with the BS goal in the minnesota game in the last 20 seconds.....turned a push into a win....

4-0 so far....come on EDM +1 and LAK +1.......

yeah....kind of like PHI....when you start to get the pieces back things come together....but you had to know they were going to have an effort like that with him back in the lineup and the first game after the coaching change.....NAS gives up shots regularly, too....we'll see how LAK are doing 5 games from now.....

Angelus- THX!......went big on PHI after i reduced the juice....had a feeling that is what would happen tonight....always nice when your team does you right...just like i am sure you are happy with the EDM win and winning money on them tonight, too.....been a very, very good week....glad we livened things up around here....starting to get back into the flow with the discussions and people posting and interacting......GL!

You shouldah been at the Canes game last night. Kolzig (spelling) was a monster in the net. Canes took 3-1 average on shots on goal and that guy wouldn't budge. The Caps didn't even have any type of killer/closer instinct even though they closed out a 3-1 road win and a huge dog let me tell ya. BTW, you shouldah seen the pair of knockers jump out of this gals halter top in the row in front of me and my ball n chain..WOAH!! Of course it was a "blonde" and she had way too many Heinekens..LMAO!!
