Although I haven't seen a line yet, and I'll wait to see shifts etc, I will likely lay a rather large wager on BRADLEY in their Sweet 16 Matchup with Memphis.. Memphis is extremely talented, and is an all around better team then the Braves, but they seem to STRUGGLE horribly when put against teams with big men who have the ability to take over a game... Pending Bradley stays out of foul trouble, I see them keeping this one extremely close if not SU beating the Tigers...
If Gonzaga wins by some act of God, and Adam M doesn't have a good night could we see Bradley in the Final Four?!?!
Now that's Packer's worst nightmare :yeah: :yeah: :yeah: :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:
(And before someone tries to flame me, I'm not a bandwagon fan.. I don't really care for any team in the MVC, It's just enjoyable to watch the teams playing the big guns on national television, when you're used to listening to them on internet radio with sometimes college aged announcers)

The pressure that Memphis will throw at them ..
Them bigs aren't gonna matter much if Bradley can't get the ball up the court.
PEOPLE NEED TO STOP HATIN on MEMPHIS ...
I mean my lord, this team has 30 wins have blown two teams out in the tourney, are as athletic as any team in this tourney and we have people calling for BRADLEY to beat them ......
Who have they struggled against "horribly" that has good bigs..
They've lost three games total. One to UAB who plays a similiar style and doesn't have good big dudes. By three to DUKE in a game they should of won and By 10 to Texas...
I DON'T THINK THEY STRUGGLE "horribly" at all

Willy... I'm not quite sure why you think I'm hating on Memphis (Not sure if you're a fan or not).. First I called them EXTREMELY talented... and then made what I still consider to be a valid point...
Memphis STRUGGLED from the field against a rather large Texas Longhorns squad. While I will agree that Texas is a far superior threat to the Tiger then the Braves are, one cannot help but see that in teams with big men.. When UAB's Holmes (listed @ 6'9) went for 14 pts, Memphis went down to defeat... I honestly see the 2 big men on Bradley as a threat to the Tigers.. And I still think it's a longshot that we see a Bradley SU win, but to say that they can't cover against a young Tigers team is a bit foolish...
To each his or her own opinion, that's why we call this gambling...

I agree with Willi. How do they "struggle" against teams with good big men? They should have beaten Duke in the NIT, and in the loss to Texas at home they got down early and couldn't complete the game-long uphill climb. They did, however, hold Aldridge to 12 points though so it's not even like he was a determining factor. Tucker and Gibson beat them, not Aldridge.
Also, they beat Alabama when they had 2 good, healthy "bigs" (Davis and Davidson), they beat Gonzaga (Batista), they beat Louisiana Tech (Milsapp), they beat Cincinnati (Hicks plays "big"), and they beat UCLA (Hollins, Mbah A Moute, and Fey all played).
Not to mention, they beat all of those teams by DD's except UCLA by 8.
The UAB point about Holmes getting 14 makes little sense IMO either. UAB was at home with a rauckas crowd, and needed a win to get in the tourney. That UAB won that game was not really surprising to anyone I don't think and had nothing to do with Holmes (if you saw it). There was 154 points scored in one of the highest octane game I saw all season, so obviously plenty of guys are gonna get theirs.
Lastly, Memphis "struggled from the field" against Texas because they went 6-32 from beyond the arc, so again, don't see your point.

PS You keep saying Bradley has "2 big men"? Sommerville is not a "big", he's a 6'7'' swing player. They only have 1 big man, not 2.

the big man on bradley, o'bryant is not good. yea he played alrite against pitt, but look who was covering him... aaron gray... hes liek flat footed and cant move for shit. memphis is way superior to bradley in athleticism and raw talent. carney and washington are better then the bradley guards. bucknell plays good defense like bradley does, but that didnt hold up as we saw i nthe bucknell-memphis game. i think its the end of the road for bradley, but i do think gmu or wichita can get to indianapolis. memphis wins this one by 9 or 10.

Memphis really impressed me against Bucknell. It's not easy taking Bucknell out of their gameplan, and Memphis did it very methodically.
That said, Bradley is a damn solid team. However, I was more impressed with their win over Kansas than Pitt. Pitt was very overrated. Grey is a flat-footed goon, and Krauser can be downright awful at times.
Also with Memphis, i like the fact that Calipari has been there before.

Flyers Fan will take issue with O'Bryant not begin good. That's his team and his boy! Haha..... Also Daws, Aaron Gray was first team All Big East so it's not like he's a retard or anything out there.

cuse-
i know hes not disabled LOL, i just think he is largely overrated and inconsistent. He does waddle though LOL. if ur talking big east big men though, id take hilton armstrong over aaron gray everytime. None of this really matters since pitt is out, but i still think o'bryant is no good.
