Tuesday Play In Game
Hampton (+5.5). Put this one in yesterday, as I felt it might drop. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think this line is WAY off. I expect Hampton to win the game outright. Seen plenty of Monmouth since I am 15 minutes from their campus and they are VERY small and struggle to score points. Monmouth has 6'10'' stiff Corey Hallet in the middle, and also starts 6'6'' Dejan Delic up front with 6'4'' local product, and best player, Marques Alston (Taquan Dean's teammate in high school). Delic can't get a rebound to save his life at 6'6'' and Alston is a Barkley-esque undersized "power" forward. He is wide-bodied and gives ferocious effort on the boards. His 5.4rpg are all heart, but he's still 6'4'' at the end of the day. They bring in 7'2'' John Bunch off the bench because Hallett is useless. Bunch is slow and awkward, but not totally devoid of skill. Wondering why a 7'2'' player is at Monmouth should tell you all you need to know about his game. In the backcourt, Monmouth has a solid 6'1'' PG in Tyler Azzerelli and 3 point sniper in SG 6'3'' Chris Kenny (a graduate of my alma mater).

Hampton's 2 best players are 6'9'' GW transfer Jaz Cowan and 6'10'' senior center Bruce Brown. This screams mismatch to me seing Monmouth play multiple times this season. Monmouth struggles to getfans to home games as it's a "suitcase" school generally, and I can't see them travelling many fans here either. The Pirates are more athletic and have more size. I don't know know if they are knocking the MEAC with this line, but the Northeast Conference is worse IMO, and Monmouth caught a miracle beating a solid FDU at home.

nice breakdown cuse, i wasnt gonna play this game but im gonna now, i watched monmouth play failey dickenson and the game was absolutely pathetic in my opinion. the scoring droughts were atrocious. i dont know anythin bout hampton, but ill take your word for it that they can ball a lil bit, they probly only need to break 50 points to win outright.

good luck kid holla, yo what jersey school you go to?

Well, this makes me feel a little better. I have Hampton and 14 1/2 as the 4th game of 10pt teaser. I had 3 NBA games that covered last night so all I need is this and 14 1/2pts seems to look real good for this game. Good Luck & Good Profits.

Well, I've been atrocious in the last two weeks so proceeed with caution but that's my thought on the game.

JBGash - If Monmouth wins by 15+ I'd be shocked. They've only won 1 game all year but 15+.

B - I went to CBA in Lincroft, played baseball there then onto to college to play.

GL GUYS!

Hamptom avgs 67PPG, Monmouth 63PPG but Monmouth is in a still weak but stronger conference than Hamptom imo. I am playing Monmouth -3. Should be a pathetic game either way, tho. :yeah:

When you really think about it, that play-in game between the No. 64 and No. 65 seeds is almost like the "Do you have a gambling problem?" litmus test.

Im leaning more towards the under in the mom/fdu game. Both teams hold opponents to <36%FG and avg a total of 119 PPG. Im leaning towards the under here

1 UNIT
Penn State (+1). Playing well of late, Rutgers struggles on the road. This line is baffling so staying small on it.

1 UNIT TEASE
NC Charlotte (-1.5), Northern Arizona (-1), Penn State (+8)

How did Hampton win a game, nevermind a conference tourney title? They are making the Monmouth zone look like Syracause with Hakim Warrick, Craig Forth, and Melo....
