When I looked at the schedule and saw only four games, I figured I'd have a tough time finding a play I like. I found five!
Pittsburgh +184, 2 units
The Pens and Capitals are both bad. But they've met 3 times this year and Pittsbugh has won all three. These games usually bring out the best in Crosby. So I'll take the +184 and hope the coin comes up on the right side.
Carolina +101, 2 units
It's not often the Hurricanes are an underdog. Philly is getting way more respect than they deserve at this point in the season. They haven't been playing well at all and almost blew the last game against Montreal. The 'Canes are starting Ward...so that's not a good thing, but I'm betting against Philly and not for the Canes.
NY Rangers -105, 2 units
Jumped on this last night when it was only -105. It's moved pretty heavily since the Rangers opened as a dog. The only thing that scares me is that the Thrashers are as desperate for a win as the Leafs were last night. But the Rangers are pretty desperate themselves as they've lost 2 straight.
Rangers/Thrashers Under 6.5 -115, 2 units
I see this as a hard fought defensive game with two very good goalie's battling it out. I think a 2-1 or 3-2 result is very likely.
The fifth play would be the over in 'Canes/Flyers game. There's a lot pointing to a high scoring game, but the juice is high and I'm not sure if I'll play it yet. May add it on later.
