Last night was a freakin train wreck, hopefully turn it around tonight:
Devils @ 1.71 to win 2 units over the Isles
Isles have owned the devils this season and overall the last few seasons including a win over the devils just 5 days ago. I'm usually one to follow a winning trend over another team but the devils are a better squad from goalie on out. With Elias out there could be a slight edge to the isles with their forwards but with the slightest of margins. That edge is definately negated by the fact that the isles had to play 3 in 4 nights including one last night on the road. The first game backs always a sluggish one and I look for the Devils to take it to the isles tonight
Columbus @ 1.588 to win 2 units over Chicago
Jackets have had some scoring troubles the last few games but efforts rarely if ever an issue with this young team. Chicagos a mess of a team but can cause problems for some teams with their work ethic seeing as the jackets dont have a problem getting up for another bad team they shouldn't surprise the jackets tonight. Also unlike above I will follow this trend as the jackets have owned the hawks all season and I see no reason why it stops tonight in Columbus.
Buffalo x Detroit @ 2.00 x 1 unit
2 home teams tonight. Sabres get the bruins. I cant say im a total believer in the Sabres as yet but they are a very solid team at home and with Raycroft going tonight I have no problems backing the Sabres. Thomas to me the stronger tender at this stage but with Raycroft on the block I can see why they're playing him.
Detroit gets Phoenix in Detroit. Yup nuff said.
