1-2 last night. One observation and maybe someone else picked up on this, as I, being a former jock in 4 sports one being baskets, was that the ball being used in the Zaga game seemed to be the kind that we get every once in a while that seems to be a bit heavier than the balls we use in shootarounds. These official balls come from both teams agreeing to the one they wish to use in these conference tourneys as compared to what they use in the NCAA's, sorta like the footballs they used for the Superbowl. Just a lil FYI and maybe someone else picked up what I did after watching the Iona & Zaga games last night.

That should have been a Gonzaga ball, no? The home team (higher seeded) gets to pick the ball and the other team collaborates with it's (and of course, the referees) approval I thought? It's not like there's an official ball of the WCC or anything.

I just felt all the guys were tossing up bricks, for the most part, and I don't remember Raivio, Pargo, PMac, or Worthy holding and rubbing like the ball in seeming disaproval.

Anyway, dissapointing night to say the least from the Zags, and Mark Few needs to teach them how to celebrate/act after a win. It's something that should have come with the programs's evolution, and obviously has not (which can be added to the list of reasons why no one takes the Zags seriously come touney time). You can't act like lunatics when you're the 4th ranked team in the country, and squeak out a 2H comeback against a lowly 12-18 team to win your conference tournament on your home floor! It looks ridiculous.

I hate Gonzaga, the most over-rated team in the land....they won't make it past the 2nd round, IF they even get that far! And Morrisson needs to score his points, etc. and just learn to keep his slow legged trap shut! He will be another Luke Jackson from Oregon, lucky if he makes it in the NBA and won't be able to play!
