I post my hockey plays at a few other sites but for whatever reason never got around to posting them here so changin that up.
Min play is 1 unit, max 5 units... parlays min/max is 1 unit
Montreal @ 2.25 x 2 unit over Philly
Philly is in a funk, lost 4 straight and finding ways to lose games they shouldn't lose. On the other hand the habs are riding high right now on the zoning out of his mind tending of Huet. I said it before enjoy the ride with montreal and im going to (sorry I just wrote this at my regular board where I had said that and just copied and pasted it here) . Forsberg doesn't seem to be in form as yet but gets Gagne back tonight, I'd give Gagne a game or 2 to get into form before I start backing the flyers again so I look for at least one more loss for the flyers before they go on a nice tear themselves.
Rangers @ 1.741 to win 2 units over Carolina
Its hard to go against the canes but they can't win every game and this one makes their 4th game in 6 nights and are on the road in the hostile confines of msg. Lundqvist makes his return tonight after getting some rest after the olympics. In his absense the Rangers played some solid hockey beating Philly handily and then outplaying jersey but losing that one late in the third. Energy is rarely an issue for the Czech national team especially at home where they've been lights out and knowing they've had a cushy game every other night sched coming out of the olympics only helps, so if the canes come out slow this one can get away from them quickly. For as good as Carolinas been all year there road sched shows they are prone to losses on the road and facing a good team here seems like a good night to bet against them.
Islanders @ -110 to win 2 units over Washington
Islanders have owned the caps this season. Despite Ovechkin being my betting kryptonite I had to get on this game for that reason. Some teams just have other teams numbers and this seems to be the case here. Add to that , that the isles are going for there 3rd straight win which doesnt seem like a lot but when its your team high for the year it should be some more incentive. The isles have been wildly consistant this year, losing to good teams and beating bad teams and the caps are just one of those teams the isles like to feed on. Doesn't hurt that the isles have had a fairly cushy sched with a game every other night and coming into this playing well in beating philly and jersey 2 solid eastern squads. Caps are rested as well but coming in off 2 straight losses.
TB @ 2.6 x 2 units over Ottawa
Big game for the bolts tonight and if they cant get up for this you can just about write off their season. Tampas at home is very rested and needs a win here to salvage a terrible home stand where they had their asses handed to them 2 games in a row by teams who shouldn't be lighting them up like they did, 8 to florida, 6 to montreal. They get in one of the leagues best in ottawa, that alone should get whatever crowd that shows up into it and the players should be looking forward to this game. The sens are going on their 4th game in 6 nights here, 3 of which have been on the road. Bolts have the health edge, home ice advantage, motivational advantage. Like I said if they cant get up for this and bring it home you can almost write off this season.
