Betting on favourites in the NHL is turning out to be disastrous.

Oddsmakers continue to hate the Blues who haven't lost by two since the middle of January. When Calgary wins, they only win by one. Their offence is horrid.

Because Ottawa played last night and Emery is in goal, I think this one stays close. If I win one of the +1.5 bets tonight, I'll be happy.

The Kings will be without Frolov and Demitra. The Wild get no respect but are a decent team and went through a pretty heavy practice yesterday. Lemaire was not pleased after their last effort. I think they respond big.
