Well, almost feels like the start of the season all over again. After an almost 3 week break, i forget who even plays for who...Olympic shit wasn't worth it unless you are a Swede.....

BUF -180.................why not start out laying some juice. BUF was great before the break, hoping they are that way after the break. I have a sneaking suspicion that Miller will put up some incredible numbers here after the break as kind of an F-U to the Olympic hockey comittee here in the states for leaving him off.

only playing 1 unit plays instead of 2 for this first week.....that layoff in which teams couldn't even have players in the rink has to have made some teams rusty......

How many weeks left in the year?

So far off to a good comeback! Couldn't pass up the Canucks last night with that much value and with Detroit kinda shorthanded cashed that too on San Jose! Sedins were on shorter shifts because of their celebrations and didn't arrive in Calgary till 4pm.

Well, hopefully this will continue!

I took a stab at Buffalo to win Stanley cup at 26-1 I think... something like that. I think they have a legit chance to win.

Angelus- THX!....we'll see how this first week shakes out...

Drigger- THX!...now is the time to get after it. Only about 6 weeks left or so.....i am going to kind of go light until next week. Players weren't allowed in their rinks for 10 days during the break, so i am kind of waiting to see how teams play. I am probably going to up my units from 2 to 3 per play starting next week. I am only playing 1 unit per play this week. You should get max efforts here from the good teams and most of the better teams should be beating the weaker teams as they all need points to make the playoffs. and start posting your plays....all of them.....lol.....

yuck.......0-1.........there has really been some bad hockey over the past 2 days, and it isn't going to get much easier with most of these teams playing 25 games in 50 days. Some real rust on some of these guys who didn't play in the olympics and teams are giving guys nights off to let them recover. Going to halt playing anything until the weekend or Monday.

Its alright Flyers! I think I am going to take a Hiatis for a bit as well. I might play some games... So far I'm alright in NHL but still gonna lower the units... then once I notice we making a profit during crunch time I will consider raising the units!

drigger- i just am not sure who is playing, who is injured etc..right now...Elias didn't play for NJD tonight and i had no idea he was still hurt. Should be back to normal after this week. Just need these guys to get their skating legs back. Lots of backup goalies, too, Vokoun, Gerber etc...not in the lineups. This is crunch time so don't wander too far. I made over 100 units last year from the all star break until the end of the first round of the playoffs. No reason not to do that again this year. :thumbs:

100 UNITS! WOW! I must say... I am still kinda new at this... I haven't had a full year of the NHL (online cause of the lockout) so I haven't experience it. My experience with the Playoffs is alright... My strat is usually to bet the home team in game 1 of each series. Usually it cashes but the first round is rough because their are upsets! I'm looking forward to you plays! Just do me one thing! POST ALL YOU PICKS! I want in on your winnings!

Even though I am down units for this season, just a little, I find I am picking a great deal of winners... Just higher units on certain games are a killer!
